Abstract
【解決手段】厚さが100μm以下であるポリイミドフィルムであって、このポリイミドフィルムは、2,2'-ビス(トリフルオロメチル)-4,4'-ジアミノビフェニル(TFMB)と、3,3',4,4'-ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物(BPDA)とピロメリット酸二無水物(PMDA)を重合させて得られ、TFMBとBPDAから生じる構造単位mとTFMBとPMDAから生じる構造単位nを含有し、構造単位mと構造単位nとのモル比(m/n)が、30/70〜100/0であるポリイミドから形成されており、0.5〜50μmの厚さ範囲において、白色度が40以上、450nmにおける反射率が50%以上である白色ポリイミドフィルム。

Description
・TFMB:2,2'-ビス(トリフルオロメチル)- 4,4'-ジアミノビフェニル
・BPDA:3,3',4,4'-ビフェニルテトラカルボン酸二無水物
・PMDA:ピロメリット酸二無水物
・DMAc:N,N-ジメチルアセトアミド
粘度は、恒温水槽付のコーンプレート式粘度計(トキメック社製)にて、合成例で得られたポリアミド酸溶液について25℃で測定した。
3mm ×15mmのサイズのポリイミドフィルムを、熱機械分析(TMA)装置にて5.0gの荷重を加えながら一定の昇温速度(20℃/min)で30℃から260℃の温度範囲で引張り試験を行い、温度に対するポリイミドフィルムの伸び量から線膨張係数(ppm/K)を測定した。
窒素雰囲気下で10〜20mgの重さのポリイミドフィルムを、熱重量分析(TG)装置にて一定の速度で30℃から550℃まで昇温させたときの重量変化を測定し、1%重量減少温度(Td1)を求めた。
ポリイミドフィルム(50mm×50mm)をUV-3101PC型自記分光光度計にて、450nmにおける反射率を求めた。
[白色度]
ポリイミドフィルム(50mm×50mm)をUV-3101PC型自記分光光度計にて、JISZ8715(色の表示法−白色度)に記載されている白色度を求めた。
[光透過率]
ポリイミドフィルム(50mm×50mm×25μm)をU4000形自記分光光度計にて、450nmにおける光透過率を求めた。
FT/IR−620にて、各熱処理工程におけるポリイミドフィルム(50mm×50mm×25μm)をATR法によりイミド(1780cm‐1)のピーク強度を求め、イミド化率を算出した。各実施例(比較例)における熱処理工程でのイミドのピーク強度が最大となるときを、イミド化率100%とした。
ポリアミド酸A〜Fを合成するため、窒素気流下で、表1に示したジアミンを200mlのセパラブルフラスコの中で攪拌しながら溶剤DMAcに溶解させた。次いで、表1に示したテトラカルボン酸二無水物を加えた。その後、溶液を室温で3時間攪拌を続けて重合反応を行い、一昼夜保持した。ほぼ無色〜薄黄色の粘稠なポリアミド酸溶液が得られ、高重合度のポリアミド酸が生成されていることが確認された。得られたポリアミド酸A〜Fの固形分と溶液粘度を表1に示した。ここで、固形分はポリアミド酸濃度である。溶液粘度はE型粘度計を用い測定した。結果をまとめて表1に示す。
合成例1〜4で得たポリアミド酸溶液A〜Dを、それぞれ厚さ12μmの銅箔上にアプリケータを用いて乾燥後の膜厚が約25μmとなるように塗布し、125℃で3分間乾燥した後、更に130℃で4分、160℃で2分、220℃、280℃、320℃及び360℃で各1分ずつ段階的な熱処理を行い、銅箔上に単層のポリイミド層を有する4種の積層体を得た。各実施例において、160℃で2分熱処理後のイミド化率は約10〜50%程度であり、80%より十分に低いものであり、220℃で1分熱処理後のイミド化率は80%より十分に高く、95%以上であった。得られた積層体について、それぞれ塩化第二鉄水溶液を用いて銅箔をエッチング除去してポリイミドフィルムを作成し、熱膨張係数(CTE)、ガラス転移温度(Tg)、熱分解温度(Td1)、450nmにおける反射率、光透過率、白色度を求めた。各測定結果を、表2に示す。なお、ポリアミド酸Aを使用した例を実施例1とし、以下順番に実施例番号を付している。
合成例5及び6で得たポリアミド酸溶液E〜Fを、それぞれ厚さ12μmの銅箔上にアプリケータを用いて乾燥後の膜厚が約25μmとなるように塗布し、125℃で3分間乾燥した後、更に130℃で4分、160℃で2分、220℃、280℃、320℃及び360℃で各1分ずつ階的な熱処理を行い、銅箔上に単層のポリイミド層を有する2種の積層体を得た。得られた積層体について、それぞれ塩化第二鉄水溶液を用いて銅箔をエッチング除去してポリイミドフィルムを作成し、熱膨張係数(CTE)、ガラス転移温度(Tg)、熱分解温度(Td1)、450nmにおける反射率、光透過率、白色度を求めた。各測定結果を、表2に示す。
市販のカプトンフィルム(Kapton150EN)の反射率、光透過率、白色度を求めた。
