Description

Claims (42)
- 無線環境で端末装置と非サービング・セクタとの間の逆方向リンク通信を容易化する方法において、
割当て情報を端末装置に送信し、
周辺セクタに前記割当て情報を送信し、
前記割当て情報は、サービング・セクタによって前記端末装置に割当てられたリソースを含み、
前記周辺セクタは、前記割当て情報に少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記端末装置からの逆方向リンク伝送を処理する、
方法。 - さらに、直交周波数分割多重化を用いて前記割当て情報を生成する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記周辺セクタは、前記割当て情報に基づき前記端末装置に割当てられた副搬送波を識別し、前記識別された副搬送波に少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記逆方向リンク伝送を検出する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記割当て情報は、バックホールシグナリングを使って前記周辺セクタに提供される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理の成功を示す肯定応答を、前記端末装置に送信する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、負荷の分散を行うため、前記周辺セクタと前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を調整する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を前記周辺セクタが成功裏に完了したとの通知を受信し、
前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を終了する、請求項6に記載の方法。 - さらに、前記周辺セクタが前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を開始したとの通知を受信し、
前記通知に応答して前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を終了する、請求項6に記載の方法。 - さらに、前記周辺セクタによる前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理が失敗したとの通知を受信し、
前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を行う、請求項8に記載の方法。 - さらに、ソフトハンドオフ対象の前記端末装置を識別する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記端末装置のアクチブ・セットに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記割当て情報の提供対象となる前記周辺セクタを識別する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記周辺セクタによってサポートされている周辺の端末装置からの伝送を受信し、
前記受信した伝送を格納し、
前記受信した伝送に関連する周辺の割当て情報を受信し、
前記周辺の割当て情報に基づき前記受信した伝送を処理する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 無線環境で他セクタとの通信を容易化する装置において、
端末装置をサポートしているサービング・セクタから前記端末装置に対する割当て情報を受信し、前記端末装置によって提供される通信を前記受信した割当て情報に少なくとも部分的に基づいて処理する命令、を実行するプロセッサと、
前記通信を格納するメモリと、
を備える装置。 - 前記割当て情報は、直交周波数分割多重化に基づいて前記端末装置に割当てられたチャネルを含む、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記命令は、前記通信の処理成功を示す肯定応答を前記サービング・セクタに送信することをさらに備える、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記命令は、前記通信の処理成功を示す肯定応答を前記端末装置に送信することをさらに備える、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記メモリは、前記割当て情報が着信次第処理するために、前記通信をバッファリングする、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記命令は、前記格納された通信を増分的に処理することをさらに備える、請求項17に記載の装置。

リソース割当て情報を周辺セクタに提供する手段と、

前記周辺セクタは、前記端末装置からの逆方向リンク伝送を、前記リソース割当て情報に少なくとも部分的に基づいて処理する、
装置。 - 直交周波数分割多重化を用いて前記リソース割当てを生成する手段をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の装置。
- 前記周辺セクタは、前記リソース割当て情報に基づき前記端末装置に割当てられた副搬送波を識別し、前記逆方向リンク伝送を、前記識別された副搬送波に少なくとも部分的に基づいて検出する、請求項21に記載の装置。
- 前記リソース割当て情報が、バックホールシグナリングを使って前記周辺セクタに提供される、請求項21に記載の装置。
- 前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理の成功を示す肯定応答を、前記端末装置に送信する手段をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の装置。
- 負荷の分散を行うため、前記周辺セクタと前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を調整する手段をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の装置。
- 前記周辺セクタが前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を成功裏に完了したことの通知を受信する手段と、
前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を終了する手段と、
をさらに備える、請求項26に記載の装置。 - 前記周辺セクタが前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を開始したことの通知を受信する手段と、
前記通知に応答して、前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を終了する手段と、
をさらに備える、請求項26に記載の装置。 - 前記周辺セクタによる前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理が失敗したとの通知を受信する手段と、
前記逆方向リンク伝送の処理を行う手段と、
をさらに備える、請求項28に記載の装置。 - ソフトハンドオフの対象となる前記端末装置を識別する手段をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の装置。
- 前記割当て情報の提供対象となる前記周辺セクタを、前記端末装置のアクチブ・セットに少なくとも部分的に基づいて識別する手段をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の装置。
- リソース割当て命令を端末装置に送信する命令と、
前記端末装置により送信されたデータパケットを処理するために、リソース割当て情報を使用するアクセスポイントに、前記リソース割当て情報を送信する命令と、
を有する、コンピュータ可読媒体。 - 直交周波数分割多重化を用いて前記リソース割当て命令を生成する命令をさらに備える、請求項32のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記リソース割当て情報は、バックホールシグナリングを経由して送信される、請求項32のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記データパケット処理の負荷バランスを達成するため、前記アクセスポイントと協働する命令をさらに備える、請求項32のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 前記アクセスポイントから、データパケット処理の完了の肯定応答を受信する命令と、
前記肯定応答に応答して前記データパケット処理を終了する命令と、
をさらに備える、請求項35のコンピュータ可読媒体。 - 前記端末装置がソフトハンドオフの準備を完了していることを決定する命令をさらに備える、請求項32のコンピュータ可読媒体。
- 他セクタとの通信を容易化するコンピュータ実行可能な命令を実行するプロセッサにおいて、
前記命令は、
ユーザ装置に関連するリソース割当て情報をサービング・セクタから受信することと、
前記ユーザ装置から少なくとも一つのデータパケットを受信することと、
前記リソース割当て情報に基づき前記少なくとも一つのデータパケットを処理することと、を備える、プロセッサ。 - 前記リソース割当て情報は、直交周波数多重化に基づいて前記端末装置に割当てられた副搬送波を含む、請求項38に記載のプロセッサ。
- 前記命令は、前記リソース割当て情報が着信次第処理するために、前記少なくとも一つのデータパケットを格納することをさらに備える、請求項38に記載のプロセッサ。
- 前記命令は、前記少なくとも一つのデータパケットの処理が成功次第、前記端末装置に通知を送信することをさらに備える、請求項38に記載のプロセッサ。
- 前記命令は、負荷の分散について前記サービング・セクタと処理を調整することをさらに備える、請求項38に記載のプロセッサ。
