Abstract
Description

本開示は、バックライト、とりわけ端部照明バックライトに関し、更にバックライトに使用される構成要素、バックライトを使用するシステム、及びバックライトの製造及び使用方法にも関する。本開示は、液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)装置及び同様のディスプレイに使用されるバックライト、並びに照明の光源としてLEDを使用するバックライトに特によく適している。

Claims (21)
- バックライトの出力領域に向かい合う背面反射体と、

凹面構造を形成するように形作られて、前記背面反射体との間に1つ以上のリサイク
リングキャビティーを提供し、前記1つ以上のリサイクリングキャビティーは前記バ
ックライトの出力領域を実質的に満たす、
前記バックライトの第1端部に隣接して配置される少なくとも1つの光源と、
ここで、前記少なくとも1つの光源は、前記1つ以上のリサイクリングキャビティー

に前記入力面は前記出力領域に実質的に直交する、
