Abstract
【解決手段】燃料タンクが、基本的に燃料蒸気を通さず、燃料を収容するシェルと、燃料をシェル内に受けるための開口と、給油ニップルとを有する。その給油ニップルはその開口に通じ、燃料蒸気バリアー層を有する。給油ニップルは通路を形成して、シェルに取付けられて、その通路はその開口と心が合い、燃料が給油ニップルを通ってタンク内部に流れ得る。給油ニップルは、内側面を形成する材料からなる内側層と、外側面を形成する材料からなる外側層と、バリアー層を形成する材料からなる少なくとも一つの中間層とを有する。その中間層は、内側・外側層とは組成が異なる材料から成形されて、炭化水素の透過を妨げる。

Claims (5)
- 給油ニップルの製造方法であって、
該給油ニップルを要求形状に形成するように構成された少なくとも鋳型空洞を有する鋳型を用意する工程を具備し、該鋳型は、該給油ニップルの外側延設フランジを成形するための外側延設部分と、該鋳型空洞に対して可動な少なくとも一つのスライドとを有し、
該鋳型空洞内に円筒パリソンを配置する工程と、
該鋳型空洞内で該パリソンを膨張させて、該パリソンを該鋳型空洞の形状に成形する工程と、
該スライドを該鋳型空洞に対して動かして、該給油ニップルのフランジ部を押圧して成形する工程とを、具備した上記方法。 - 前記膨張させる工程は、
前記パリソンの一部を前記鋳型の前記外側延設部分に膨張させて、前記パリソンの一対の離間した外側延設壁を形成することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記スライドを動かす工程が、前記パリソンの前記一対の離間した外側延設壁を押圧して、前記給油ニップルの前記フランジを形成することを含む請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記パリソンは複数の材料層から形成され、前記パリソンの一対の離間した外側延設壁の各々は、該複数の材料層を有する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記鋳型は複数鋳型空洞を有し、
前記パリソンを配置する前記工程が、前記パリソンを少なくとも部分的に各前記鋳型空洞内に配置して、複数の前記給油ニップルを形成する請求項1に記載の方法。
