Abstract
【解決手段】高圧EGR通路20及び低圧EGR通路21と、高圧EGR弁22及び低圧EGR弁24とを備え、低圧EGR弁22をオープンループ制御で制御する内燃機関の排気還流装置において、高圧EGR通路20の排気導入位置よりも下流の吸気通路3のガスの酸素濃度O2s、高圧EGR通路20の排気取り出し位置と低圧EGR通路21の排気取り出し位置との間の排気通路4に設けられる排気浄化触媒11を通過するガスの流量Gdpf、新気の流量Gafm、及び気筒2に単位時間当たりに供給された燃料量Qに基づいて高圧EGR通路20を通過しているEGRガスの流量Ghpl及び低圧EGR通路21を通過しているEGRガスの流量Glplをそれぞれ推定する。

Claims (3)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に設けられる排気浄化手段と、前記排気浄化手段よりも上流の排気通路と前記内燃機関の吸気通路とを連通する第1EGR通路と、前記排気浄化手段よりも下流の排気通路と前記第1EGR通路の排気導入位置よりも上流の吸気通路とを連通する第2EGR通路と、前記第1EGR通路を流れる排気の流量を調整する第1EGR弁と、前記第2EGR通路を流れる排気の流量を調整する第2EGR弁と、前記第1EGR弁及び前記第2EGR弁の少なくともいずれか一方をオープンループ制御にて制御する制御手段と、を備えた内燃機関の排気還流装置において、
前記内燃機関の吸気通路に外部から吸入された空気の流量を検出する新気量検出手段と、前記第1EGR通路の排気導入位置よりも下流の吸気通路のガスの酸素濃度を検出する酸素濃度検出手段と、前記排気浄化手段を通過するガスの流量を取得する流量取得手段と、を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記新気量検出手段が検出した空気の流量、前記酸素濃度検出手段が検出した酸素濃度、前記流量取得手段が取得したガスの流量、及び前記内燃機関の気筒に単位時間当たりに供給された燃料量に基づいて前記第1EGR通路を通過しているガスの流量及び前記第2EGR通路を通過しているガスの流量をそれぞれ推定する推定手段を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の排気還流装置。 - 前記推定手段は、まず前記新気量検出手段が検出した空気の流量、前記酸素濃度検出手段が検出した酸素濃度、及び前記内燃機関の気筒に供給された燃料量に基づいて前記内燃機関の気筒に吸入される吸入ガスの流量を推定し、次に推定した前記吸入ガスの流量、前記流量取得手段が取得したガスの流量、前記新気量検出手段が検出した空気の流量、及び前記内燃機関の気筒に供給された燃料量に基づいて前記第2EGR通路を通過しているガスの流量を推定し、その後推定した前記第2EGR通路を通過しているガスの流量、前記吸入ガスの流量、及び前記新気量検出手段が検出した空気の流量に基づいて前記第1EGR通路を通過しているガスの流量を推定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気還流装置。
- 前記排気浄化手段の入口の圧力と出口の圧力との差である圧力差を検出する圧力差検出手段をさらに備え、
前記流量取得手段は、前記圧力差検出手段が検出した圧力差に基づいて前記排気浄化手段を通過するガスの流量を推定することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の排気還流装置。
