Abstract
【解決手段】縦軸を噴射量あるいはトルクとし、横軸をエンジン回転数とした運転領域において、高負荷、高回転側を排気還流通路を機能させる領域、低負荷、低回転側を排気燃料添加弁を機能させる領域とする。さらに触媒の劣化度が進むにつれて、両領域の境界101を低負荷、低回転側の102へ移動させる。

Claims (5)
- リーン雰囲気時にNOxを吸蔵しリッチ雰囲気時にNOxを還元する吸蔵還元型NOx触媒を排気通路に備えた内燃機関の排気浄化装置であって、
前記排気通路の前記吸蔵還元型NOx触媒より上流側に燃料を添加する排気燃料添加弁と、
前記排気燃料添加弁よりも下流側の前記排気通路に設けられ、前記排気通路の排気を吸気通路へと還流する排気還流通路と、
前記内燃機関の回転数と負荷とを含む運転状態の情報を取得する取得手段と、
その取得手段により取得された運転状態の情報に応じて前記排気還流通路と前記排気燃料添加弁とのうち一方を機能させ他方を機能させず、前記排気還流通路を機能させる運転状態は前記排気燃料添加弁を機能させる運転状態よりも高回転あるいは高負荷の運転状態とする制御ルーチンに従い、前記排気還流通路と前記排気燃料添加弁とを機能させる制御手段とを備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記吸蔵還元型NOx触媒の劣化の程度を検出する検出手段と、
その検出手段により検出された前記吸蔵還元型NOx触媒の劣化の程度がより大きくなると、前記制御ルーチンにおける前記排気還流通路を機能させる運転状態と前記排気燃料添加弁を機能させる運転状態との境界を、より低回転あるいは低負荷の側へと移行させる制御ルーチン変更手段とを備えた請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記検出手段により検出された前記吸蔵還元型NOx触媒の劣化の程度が所定の閾値よりも大きいか否かを判定する判定手段を備え、
前記制御ルーチン変更手段は、第1の境界と、その第1の境界より低回転あるいは低負荷状態の側にある第2の境界とのうちで、前記判定手段により前記吸蔵還元型NOx触媒の劣化の程度が所定の閾値よりも小さいと判定された場合は第1の境界を、前記判定手段により前記吸蔵還元型NOx触媒の劣化の程度が所定の閾値よりも大きいと判定された場合は第2の境界を、前記排気還流通路を機能させる運転状態と前記排気燃料添加弁を機能させる運転状態との境界として選択する選択手段を有する請求項2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記回転数と前記負荷とを示す2つの座標軸を有する平面上に、前記排気還流通路を機能させる運転状態に対応する第1の領域と、前記排気燃料添加弁を機能させる運転状態に対応する第2の領域とが形成され、
前記制御ルーチン変更手段は、前記検出手段により検出された前記吸蔵還元型NOx触媒の劣化の程度から前記第1の領域の拡大率への関数関係が、1次関数よりも速く増大する性質を有する請求項2又は3に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記内燃機関はディーゼルエンジンである請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
