Claims (22)
- −CF2SO3X、−CF2SO2F、又はこれらの組み合わせを末端とする複数のペンダント基(式中、XはH+及びカチオンから成る群から選択される);並びに
少なくとも1つの−CF2Y末端基(式中、Yは塩素原子、臭素原子、ヨウ素原子、ニトリル基、及び−SO3X基から成る群から選択される)を含むフルオロポリマー。 - Yが、塩素原子又は−SO3X基を含む、請求項1に記載のフルオロポリマー。
- 前記フルオロポリマーが、塩又は擬ハロゲンの不存在下にて生成された類似のフルオロポリマーと比較して、少なくとも約25%少ないカルボニル末端基を有する、請求項1に記載のフルオロポリマー。
- 過フッ素化主鎖を更に含む、請求項1に記載のフルオロポリマー。
- 前記ペンダント基が、−O(CF2)4SO2X、−O(CF2)4SO2F、−OCF2CF(CF3)OCF2CF2SO2X、−OCF2CF(CF3)OCF2CF2SO2F、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のフルオロポリマー。
- 請求項1のフルオロポリマーを含む電解質膜。
- 前記電解質膜が、架橋している、請求項6に記載の電解質膜。
- 一部分がフルオロポリマーから構成され、各フルオロポリマーが、−CF2SO3Xを末端とする複数のペンダント基(式中、XはH+及びカチオンから成る群から選択される);並びに少なくとも1つの−CF2Y末端基(式中、Yは塩素原子及び−SO3X基から成る群から選択される)を含む、電解質膜。
- 前記フルオロポリマーが、塩又は擬ハロゲンの不存在下にて生成された類似のフルオロポリマーと比較して、少なくとも約25%少ないカルボニル末端基を有する、請求項8に記載の電解質膜。
- 各フルオロポリマーが、少なくとも1つの−CF3末端基を更に含む、請求項8に記載の電解質膜。
- 請求項8に記載の電解質膜を備える、電気化学的デバイス。
- 前記フルオロポリマーを製造するために、塩、擬ハロゲン、又は当該塩及び当該擬ハロゲンの組み合わせの存在下で、フッ素化モノマーをラジカル重合させることを含み、ここで、前記フルオロポリマーが、−CF2SO2Fを末端とする複数のペンダント基及び少なくとも1つの−CF2Y末端基を含み、式中、Yが、塩素原子、臭素原子、ヨウ素原子、ニトリル基及び−SO3X基から成る群から選択され、式中、Xが、H+及びカチオンから成る群から選択される、フルオロポリマー製造方法。
- 前記フルオロポリマーが、塩又は擬ハロゲンの不存在下にて生成された類似のフルオロポリマーと比較して、少なくとも約25%少ないカルボニル末端基を有する、請求項12に記載のフルオロポリマー。
- 前記フルオロポリマーを加水分解させることを更に含み、ここで加水分解させることで、−CF2SO2Fを末端とする前記ペンダント基を−CF2SO3Xを末端とするペンダント基に実質的に転化させる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- フルオロポリマーの後フッ素化処理(post-fluorinating)を更に含み、当該後フッ素化処理が実質的に、−CF2Y末端基を−CF3末端基に転化させる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記フルオロポリマーを加水分解させることを更に含み、ここで、加水分解させることで、−CF2SO2Fを末端とする前記ペンダント基を−CF2SO3Xを末端とするペンダント基に実質的に転化させる、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記ラジカル重合を、1以上の二亜硫酸塩の存在下で行なう、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ラジカル重合を、フルオロアルキルスルフィン酸塩、フルオロアルキルスルフィン酸、及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される1以上の化合物の存在下で行なう、請求項12に記載の方法。
- フッ素化モノマーを提供すること(ここで、前記フッ素化モノマーの少なくとも1つが、スルホニルフッ化物モノマーを含む);及び
前記フルオロポリマーを製造するために、塩、擬ハロゲン、又は当該塩及び当該擬ハロゲンの組み合わせの存在下で、フッ素化モノマーをラジカル反応させ、ここで、前記フルオロポリマーが、塩又は擬ハロゲンの不存在下にて生成された類似のフルオロポリマーと比較して、少なくとも約25%少ないカルボニル末端基を有すること、を含む、フルオロポリマーの製造方法。 - フルオロポリマーが、−CF2SO2Fを末端とする複数のペンダント基を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記フルオロポリマーを加水分解して、当該フルオロポリマーが−CF2SO3Xを末端とする複数のペンダント基を含むようにすることを更に含み、ここで式中、XがH+及び一価カチオンから成る群から選択される、請求項20に記載の方法。
- フルオロポリマーを後フッ素化処理(post-fluorinating)することを更に含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
