Abstract
Description
しかしパティキュレートフィルタ装置は、排ガス浄化装置のボディ下部分に設けるべきであろう。そこでは、この体積の大きい装置のために、より大きなスペースが得られるからである。
Claims (20)
- パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)を備える、ディーゼルエンジン(10)を持つ自動車の排気ガスシステムであって、パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)の上流に、エンジン近傍のパティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)が配置され、該リザーバは排気ガス流に含まれるパティキュレートの一部分を吸収し、排気ガス流に含まれるパティキュレートのその他の部分は、該リザーバを通ってパティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)に流れ、この場合、パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)は、エンジン(10)の近傍に配置されているので、運転中でもNO2酸化効果によって、該リザーバの少なくとも一部が再生されることを特徴とする、排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)が、そのダスト負荷の度合いに関わらず、排気ガス流に含まれるパティキュレートの一部分をパティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)に到達させるように形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)は、パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)よりも少ない量のパティキュレートを捕集することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)が、排気ガス管(34)を介してパティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)と、流れの上で結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)とパティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)との間に、振動遮断装置(20)が、パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)とパティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)との間に配置された排気ガス管(34)に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)が、排気ガスシステムのマニホールド部分(16)の中に、または該マニホールド部分に直接隣接して、配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)が排気ガスシステムのボディ下部分(18)に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- 排気ガスシステムにターボチャージャ(32)が設けられ、パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)がターボチャージャ(32)の直前または直後に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)が、コージライトを含むフィルタインサート(38)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)の下流に、パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)に割り当てられた再生装置(43)が配置され、該再生装置がパティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)を間歇的に再生することを特徴とする、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- 再生装置(43)が流体導入システム、特に燃料導入システム(54)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- 再生装置(43)が液体気化器(44)を備え、蒸気を排気ガス中に導入することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)には、パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)内の温度を上げるため、酸化触媒コンバータ(40)が割り当てられていることを特徴とする、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)には、パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)内の排気ガスの温度を上げるため、酸化触媒コンバータ(30)が割り当てられていることを特徴とする、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- 排気ガスシステムがEGR(排気ガス再循環装置)を備え、該EGRを経由して排気ガスをエンジン(10)に供給することができ、この場合パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)は、還流される排気ガスがパティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)を通過する形で、排気ガスシステム中に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)が、EGR管(62)に設けられたクーラー(66)の上流に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)が、バイパスバルブ(64)の上流に設けられ、該バイパスバルブは、EGR管(62)に配置され、そしてクーラー(66)に前置されていることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)が、パティキュレートを貯留するための発泡セラミックスインサートまたは金属インサートを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- NOx触媒コンバータ(33)が、パティキュレート捕集リザーバ(24)の下流に設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1から18のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
- パティキュレートフィルタ装置(36)は運転中、ディーゼルエンジン(10)から非常に離れて配置されているので、該装置中では、運転温度が低いため連続的なNO2酸化効果が生じないことを特徴とする、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガスシステム。
