Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 3次元プリンタの複数のプリントヘッドによってテストパターンを形成する方法であって、
前記テストパターンを受け取るためのビルド表面上の区域を画定する段階と、
高コントラストでプリントすることが可能な基準プリントヘッドを選択する段階と、
前記基準プリントヘッドによって基準線をプリントする段階と、
残りのプリントヘッドの少なくとも1つによって前記基準線に接近してテスト線をプリントする段階と、
を含む方法。 - 区域を画定する前記段階は、前記ビルド表面上にコントラスト強調副層を形成する段階を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- コントラスト強調副層を形成する前記段階は、
少なくとも1つのプリントヘッドを使用して単色の高コントラストの色で前記区域をプリントする段階と、
少なくとも1つのプリントされていないビルド材料層を、前記プリントされた区域の上に重ねる段階と、
を含む請求項2に記載の方法。 - プリントヘッドを選択する前記段階は、
前記プリントヘッドの各々によって、前記コントラスト強調副層の上にターゲットをプリントする段階と、
プリントされていない区域に対比してどのターゲットが最高のコントラストを有するかを識別するために前記ターゲットを比較する段階と、
前記最高のコントラストに関連付けられているプリントヘッドを選択する段階と、
を含む請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記プリントヘッドの各々は、マゼンタ、黄色、シアン、透明、および、黒から成るグループから選択される色を有する液体バインダを用いてプリントする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 基準線をプリントする前記段階とテスト線をプリントする前記段階とは、複数の基準線をプリントする段階と、これに対応する複数のテスト線をプリントする段階とを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 基準線をプリントする前記段階とテスト線をプリントする前記段階とは、
前記プリントヘッドの高速軸行程に対して平行な複数の公称上は同一の線対をプリントする段階であって、各々の線対は1つの基準線と1つのテスト線とを含む段階と、
前記プリントヘッドの高速軸行程に対して垂直な複数の公称上は同一の線対をプリントする段階であって、各々の線対は1つの基準線と1つのテスト線とを含む段階と、
を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 複数の線対の各々は等間隔の直線配列として構成されている請求項7に記載の方法。
- 各々のテスト線は一連のテストバーを含み、残りのプリントヘッドの各々は、前記基準線の公称上の配列間隔の1/2に等しい、対応する基準線から一定の距離に公称上は位置している中央のテストバーをプリントする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 残りのプリントヘッドの各々は、前記中央のテストバーの周囲に増分的に配置されている複数の追加のテストバーをプリントする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 3次元プリンタ内の複数のプリントヘッドを位置合わせするためのテストパターンであって、
複数の実質的に等間隔に置かれた単色の基準線と、
前記複数の基準線と共に交番パターンの形で配置されている複数のテスト線であって、非基準色の少なくとも1つのバーを各々が含む複数のテスト線と、
を含むテストパターン。 - 前記複数の線は高速軸プリントヘッド行程に対して実質的に平行に方向配置されており、および、第2の複数の線は前記高速軸プリントヘッド行程に対して実質的に垂直に方向配置されている請求項11に記載のテストパターン。
- 複数のプリントヘッドを位置合わせするために補正係数を求める方法であって、
ビルド表面上にテストパターンをプリントする段階と、
前記テストパターンを表す1組の電気信号を生成する段階と、
少なくとも1つの周波数における前記電気信号の高調波成分を求めるために、前記電気信号を分析する段階と、
前記電気信号の前記高調波成分に基づいて補正係数を求める段階と、
を含む方法。 - 電気信号を生成する前記段階は、
前記テストパターンを照明する段階と、
予め決められた位置において前記テストパターンの反射率を測定する段階と、
を含む請求項13に記載の方法。 - 電気信号を分析する前記段階は、アナログフィルタとディジタルフィルタの少なくとも一方の適用によって、予め決められた周波数における前記信号の高調波成分を求める段階を含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記補正係数は、前記選択された高調波の最小値が求められる公称上のテストバーの変位に近い請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記補正係数は、1組の高調波値に当てはめられている(表している)分析曲線の最小値を発見することによって求められる請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記補正係数は1組の第3高調波値から求められる請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記補正係数は1組の第1高調波値から求められる請求項16に記載の方法。
