Description
Claims (12)
- 少なくとも一つの基板と、第1および第2の電極と、表示媒体と、光学活性層とを有する表示装置であって、
前記光学活性層は、偏光器を有し、前記基板と前記表示媒体の間に配置され、
前記基板は、複屈折材料で構成されることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記複屈折材料は、高分子材料であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記基板は、可撓性であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記基板の遅延性は、10nmよりも大きいことを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれか一つに記載の表示装置。
- 前記光学活性層は、さらに、光学的に活性な部材を有し、該部材は、偏光器、遅延器、カラーフィルタ、拡散器、散乱膜、半透明板および反射器からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれか一つに記載の表示装置。
- 前記光学活性層は、少なくとも一つのパターン化された光学的に活性な部材を有することを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれか一つに記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示媒体は、液晶層を有することを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれか一つに記載の表示装置。
- 第1および第2の基板であって、少なくとも前記前方基板は複屈折性である、第1および第2の基板と、
前記前方および後方基板の間に配置された第1および第2の光学活性層と、
前記第1および第2の光学活性層の間に配置された第1および第2の電極と、
前記電極の間に配置された液晶層と、
を有し、
少なくとも前記第1の光学活性層は、偏光器を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示媒体は、エレクトロルミネッセント層を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか一つに記載の表示装置。
- 前記エレクトロルミネッセント層は、ポリLED組立体内に構成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の表示装置。
- 前記エレクトロルミネッセント層は、OLED組立体内に構成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の表示装置。
- 表示装置を製造する方法であって、
複屈折基板を提供するステップと、
前記基板の一方の側に、光学活性層および第1の電極を配置するステップと、
前記第1の光学活性層および前記第1の電極を備える前記基板上に、表示媒体を配置するステップであって、前記第1の光学活性層および前記第1の電極は、前記表示媒体と対向する、ステップと、
を有する方法。
