Description
Claims (15)
- 湿潤シリアルからβ−グルカンを抽出する方法であって、pHが酸性の5.2以下の値に調整されるとともに、密閉空間において前記シリアルが5バール未満の処理圧力及び100℃〜130℃の温度下で処理され、減圧後に固形物から液相を分離し、この分離された液相からβ−グルカンを回収することを特徴とする方法。
- 前記湿潤シリアルのpHが、4.7〜3.6の値に調整されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記湿潤シリアルのpHが、4.2の値に調整されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記湿潤シリアルのpHが、3.6の値に調整されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記処理が3〜4バールの圧力で行われることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリアルが、処理中に少なくとも1回の圧力変化を受けることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力変化が、所定の処理圧力から±0.5バールの範囲であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力変化が、所定の処理圧力に対する瞬間的な減圧によって生じることを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力変化が、所定の処理圧力より高い瞬間的な圧力衝撃によって生じることを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記処理圧力が瞬間的に実質的に大気圧を下回ることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 熱処理を受けた前記シリアルの乾燥成分の含有量が7〜10%の値に調整されることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリアルが湿潤される前に粉砕されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記シリアルが全粒のまま処理される方法であって、前記シリアルが所定の水分を含むまで酸性化水に浸され、前記熱処理が前記所定の水分量で行われるとともに、前記熱処理が急激な減圧により終了することを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記処理圧力を、外部圧力により、処理温度における飽和水蒸気圧よりも高い値まで上昇させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記処理圧力が、前記シリアルに付与される圧縮力分だけ上昇することを特徴とする請求項9または14に記載の方法。
