Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明の組電池は、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成された帯状の第一の電極タブを具備する第一の電池と、アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成された帯状の第二の電極タブを具備する第二の電池と、導電性フィラーとを備え、第一の電極タブと第二の電極タブとは、その間に介在する導電性フィラー、および一部が互いに溶着する溶着面により電気的に接続することを特徴とする。

Description
まず、本実施形態に係わる組電池について説明する前に、その組電池を構成する電池について説明する。電池はアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成された帯状の正極タブ及び負極タブを有することを特徴とする。以下、図1〜図3を用いてその構造の一例について説明する。
本実施形態の組電池について、図4〜図5を参照して説明する。
本実施の形態の電池パックについて、図6〜図7を参照して説明する。
角型扁平電池として、アルミラミネート外装材を有するリチウムイオン二次電池を用いた。この電池の正極及び負極の電極タブとして純度99%のアルミニウム材が用いられている。タブ材の厚みは、200μm、幅は電池外装60mmに対して42%とした25mmとした。
実施例1と同様のリチウムイオン二次電池を用いて、2種の異なる形状を持つ導電性フィラーを適用した組電池を作成した。
実施例1と同様のリチウムイオン二次電池を用いて、導電性フィラーと有機バインダーとの混合物を用いて組電池を作成した。球状導電性フィラーとフレーク状導電性フィラーを1:1の割合とし、全体量に対して20%の液状ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂と混錬した。樹脂の硬化には、アミンアダクトタイプの硬化剤を用いた。室温で24時間硬化させた。
実施例1と同様のリチウムイオン二次電池を用いて、未処理のアルミタブ同士を直接接合して構成された組電池を用意した。タブ表面は未処理の状態で、超音波溶接機を用いてタブ同士の溶接を行った。超音波接合面は、5mm角のホーンとアンビルを用いた。タブの幅方向に対して、5mm間隔で3箇所接合を行った。
Claims (6)
- アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成された帯状の第一の電極タブを具備する第一の電池と、
アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金で形成された帯状の第二の電極タブを具備する第二の電池と、
導電性フィラーとを備え、
前記第一の電極タブと前記第二の電極タブとは、その間に介在する導電性フィラー、および一部が互いに溶着する溶着面により電気的に接続することを特徴とする組電池。 - 前記導電性フィラーは、金粉、銀粉、ニッケル粉、アルミニウム粉、カーボン粉およびグラファイト粉から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組電池。
- 前記導電性フィラーは、球状粒子と、フレーク状粒子もしくは樹状粒子と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項1および2の何れか一項に記載の組電池。
- 前記導電性フィラーは有機バインダーと混合物を形成することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の組電池。
- 前記有機バインダーはビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂の硬化物であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組電池。
- 前記第一の電池および前記第二の電池が互いに直列接続された請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の組電池と、
前記第一の電極タブと前記第二の電極タブとの間にその一端が挟まれ、かつ前記導電性フィラーが接触することにより電気的に接続されたリードと、
前記リードの他端が電気的に接続され、前記第一の電池および前記第二の電池の電圧を検知する回路とを具備することを特徴とする電池パック。
