Abstract
【解決手段】筒状の本体部1と本体部1の一方の開口部を塞ぐ底部12とを有するカップ部品13と、カップ部品13の底部12に装着される円盤状のフランジ部品2とを備える。底部12に突部8を設けて、フランジ部品2を突部8に嵌合させ、フランジ部品2の内径面4aと突部8の外径面3とを溶接にて接合した等速自在継手の外側継手部材である。溶接時には、カップ部品13とフランジ部品2の嵌合部に設けられた逃げ部9に溶融金属が流れ込むため、ビード部の盛り上がりを抑えてその除去加工に要するコストを低減することができる。

Claims (6)
- 軸方向一端部に底部を有するカップ部品と、このカップ部品に装着されるフランジ部品とを備え、カップ部品の軸方向一端部に小径の突部を設けて、フランジ部品を突部の外径面に嵌合させ、フランジ部品の内径面と突部の外径面とを溶接にて接合した等速自在継手の外側継手部材であって、
カップ部品の外径面とフランジ部品の内径面との嵌合部に、溶融金属が流入する逃げ部を形成したことを特徴とする等速自在継手の外側継手部材。 - 嵌合部の軸方向他端部に逃げ部を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- フランジ部品の内径部を薄肉にし、嵌合部の軸方向一端を、フランジ部品の、他部材に取り付ける取り付け端面よりも軸方向他端側に位置させたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- フランジ部品を均一肉厚にしたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- 取り付け端面からのビード部の突出量を0にしたことを特徴とする請求項3または4記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
- 前記逃げ部の曲率半径Rを0.2mm以上、1mm以下とするとともに、深さを0.05mm以上、2/3R以下としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5記載の等速自在継手の外側継手部材。
