【解決手段】白色発光装置は、主波長が430〜455nmである青色LEDチップと、青色LEDチップにより励起される(Sr,Ba,Ca)AlSiN3:Euで表される赤色蛍光体と、(Sr,Ba,Ca)2SiO4:Euで表される緑色蛍光体とを含み、赤色蛍光体が発する赤色光の色度座標はCIE 1931色度座標系を基準として4つの頂点(0.5448,0.4544)、(0.7079,0.2920)、(0.6427,0.2905)及び(0.4794,0.4633)を有する四角形領域内にあり、緑色蛍光体が発する緑色光の色度座標は4つの頂点(0.1270,0.8037)、(0.4117,0.5861)、(0.4197,0.5316)及び(0.2555,0.5030)を有する四角形領域内にある。

Claims (6)
- 主波長が430〜455nmである青色LEDチップと、
前記青色LEDチップの周囲に配置され、前記青色LEDチップにより励起され赤色光を発する赤色蛍光体と、
前記青色LEDチップの周囲に配置され、前記青色LEDチップにより励起され緑色光を発する緑色蛍光体と、
を含み、
前記赤色蛍光体が発する赤色光の色度座標は、CIE 1931色度座標系を基準として4つの頂点(0.5448,0.4544)、(0.7079,0.2920)、(0.6427,0.2905)及び(0.4794,0.4633)により規定される四角形領域内にあり、
前記緑色蛍光体が発する緑色光の色度座標は、CIE 1931色度座標系を基準として4つの頂点(0.1270,0.8037)、(0.4117,0.5861)、(0.4197,0.5316)及び(0.2555,0.5030)により規定される四角形領域内にあり、
前記赤色蛍光体は(Sr,Ba,Ca)AlSiN3:Euで表される蛍光体で、前記緑色蛍光体は(Sr,Ba,Ca)2SiO4:Euで表される蛍光体であることを特徴とする白色発光装置。 - 前記青色LEDチップは10〜30nmの半値幅を有し、前記緑色蛍光体は30〜100nmの半値幅を有し、前記赤色蛍光体は50〜200nmの半値幅を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の白色発光装置。
- 前記赤色蛍光体の発光波長ピークは600〜650nmで、前記緑色蛍光体の発光波長ピークは500〜550nmであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の白色発光装置。
- 前記緑色蛍光体はSrGa2S4:Eu及びβ−SiAlONで構成されたグループから選択された少なくとも一つの蛍光体をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の白色発光装置。
- 前記赤色蛍光体はSrxBayCazS:Eu(0≦x、y、z≦2)をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の白色発光装置。
- 回路基板と前記回路基板上に配置された複数の白色LED装置を含み、
前記白色LED装置のそれぞれは、
主波長が430〜455nmである青色LEDチップと、
前記青色LEDチップの周囲に配置され、前記青色LEDチップにより励起され赤色光を発する赤色蛍光体と、
前記青色LEDチップの周囲に配置され、前記青色LEDチップにより励起され緑色光を発する緑色蛍光体とを含み、
前記赤色蛍光体が発する赤色光の色度座標はCIE 1931色度座標系を基準として4つの頂点(0.5448,0.4544)、(0.7079,0.2920)、(0.6427,0.2905)及び(0.4794,0.4633)により規定される四角形領域内にあり、
