Abstract
【解決手段】プラスチック、ゴム、金属、セラミックス、木材、有機繊維のいずれかからなる単層体又はそれらの内の2種以上からなる積層体からなる基材の表面に、シリカ及び/又はシリコーン樹脂と改質ふっ素樹脂を含むコーティング材がコーティングされている。上記改質ふっ素樹脂は、ふっ素樹脂をそのふっ素樹脂融点以上、酸素濃度1.3kPa以下の条件で、電離性放射線を照射することにより改質して得る。

Description
(1)コーティング部材の製造
厚さ2mmのアルミ基材の表面に、0.003重量%のケイ酸ナトリウム水溶液をスプレーした後、赤外線ランプで乾燥させた。その後、表1に示した溶液をスプレーにより均一に塗布し、この塗布された溶液を乾燥させて、厚さ30μmのコーティング膜を有するコーティング部材を製造した。表1に示すように、実施例として実施例1〜5の5種類、比較例として比較例1,2の2種類の溶液を用いた。
シリカBは、エチルシリケートを塩酸で加水分解して調整したシリカゲルの50wt%エチルアルコール溶液である。
なお、酸素濃度が1.3kPaを超えると改質ふっ素樹脂の改質(橋かけ)程度が著しく低下し、摩耗特性の向上が望めないので、酸素濃度は1.3kPa以下がよい。
(2)試験方法及び結果
こうして得られたコーティング部材について、撥水性としゅう動特性を評価した。撥水性については、協和界面科学(株)製接触角計CA−D型を用い、液滴径1.9mmに調整し、水の接触角を計測し、その接触角により撥水性を評価した。

実施例1〜5は、接触角が高く撥水性に優れ、しかも耐摩耗性が良好であり、更に摩擦係数も低く、低摩擦性に優れる特徴を有している。
Claims (5)
- 基材の表面に、シリカ及び/又はシリコーン樹脂と改質ふっ素樹脂を含むコーティング材がコーティングされていることを特徴とするコーティング部材。
- 上記基材が、プラスチック、ゴム、金属、セラミックス、木材、有機繊維のいずれかからなる単層体又はそれらの内の2種以上からなる積層体であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のコーティング部材。
- 基材の表面に、シリカ及び/又はシリコーン樹脂と改質ふっ素樹脂を含むコーティング材をコーティングすることを特徴とするコーティング部材の製造方法。
- 基材の表面に、ケイ酸塩溶液を塗布し、このケイ酸塩溶液が乾燥した後、該乾燥面にシリカ及び/又はシリコーン樹脂と改質ふっ素樹脂を含むコーティング液を塗布することを特徴とする請求項3記載のコーティング部材の製造方法。
- 上記改質ふっ素樹脂は、ふっ素樹脂をそのふっ素樹脂融点以上、酸素濃度1.3kPa以下の条件で、電離性放射線を照射することにより改質して得ることを特徴とする請求項3又は4記載のコーティング部材の製造方法。
