Abstract
【解決手段】可搬型腹膜透析システムは、腹膜透析液を患者に送出する前に腹膜透析液を加熱するために同じワット量を送るために、110VAC又は220VACの検出に応じて加熱回路を自動的に再構成する二重電圧加熱システムを有する。これにより、米国及び欧州での同じ機器の使用が容易になる。加熱要素が、電気的に相互接続された抵抗加熱コイルであることが好ましい。

Description
図1には、複数のPD液袋及びそれらに関連する配管に対応するよう設計されたカート12に載置された、可搬型PDサイクラー10が示されている。サイクラー10の前部には、患者によって操作されるよう設計されたユーザインターフェイスを提供するコントロールパネル12と、ヒンジで連結されたドア14の後ろにある与圧されたカセット室とが設けられている。カセット(図示せず)は、複数のチャネルと、複数の柔軟なバルブドームと、隔壁で覆われた複数のポンプ室とを有する。これらは、空気弁とピストンとの組み合わせがカセット室と相互作用することによって作動され、袋からのPD液の流れを、サイクラーを通して患者に向かわせ、患者から排出管に向かわせる。上記カセット及びカセット室の更なる詳細は、上述の米国特許出願第11/069195号に開示されている。カセットは、その下縁部に沿って配列された複数の配管コネクタ16を有する。図1に示されるように、コネクタはドア14の下方に延出し、配管に接続される。
図4〜図6は、110又は220VACにおける加熱回路の全体的な動作の概要を示し、図7〜図11は、回路の実装例即ち実施形態を説明するための詳細な模式図である。

Claims (12)
- 腹膜透析液供給源と、
患者の腹腔への及び患者の腹腔からの前記腹膜透析液を通すための患者ラインと、
前記患者ラインを通して前記患者の腹部に所定量の腹膜透析液を送出するためのコントローラと、
前記腹膜透析液を前記患者に送出する前に該腹膜透析液を加熱する加熱器であって、センタータップを介して電気的に直列に接続された少なくとも2つの加熱要素を有する加熱器と、
入力される電源線に接続され、電源電圧が220VACであるか又は110VACであるかを検出し、該電源電圧を示す出力を生成する電圧検出回路と、
220VAC又は110VACのいずれの電圧においても、前記加熱器によってほぼ同じワット量が自動的に生成され、前記腹膜透析液がほぼ同じ率で加熱されるように、前記電圧検出回路の前記出力に応答して、直列接続された前記加熱要素に220VACを印加する又は並列接続された前記加熱要素に前記センタータップを介して110VACを印加するスイッチ回路と
を備えることを特徴とする可搬型腹膜透析器。 - 前記電圧検出回路が、前記スイッチ回路に、一方が220VACの電源電流の存在を示し他方が110VACの電源電流の存在を示す2つの相補的な相互排他的論理出力を供給することを特徴とする請求項1記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記加熱要素が、電気的に相互接続された抵抗加熱コイルであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記腹膜透析液供給源が腹膜透析液袋であり、前記可搬型腹膜透析器が加熱袋と該加熱袋を受容するための前記コントローラ上のトレーとを更に含み、前記加熱袋を温めるために前記加熱器が前記トレーと動作的に並置されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記加熱要素が、前記トレーに埋め込まれた抵抗加熱コイルであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記加熱器が、センタータップを介して直列に接続された1対の補助加熱要素を更に含み、前記スイッチ回路が、220VAC又は110VACのいずれの電圧においても前記補助加熱要素によってほぼ同じワット量が自動的に生成されるように、直列接続された前記補助加熱要素に220VACを印加する又は並列接続された前記補助加熱要素に前記センタータップを介して110VACを印加することを特徴とする請求項1記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記スイッチ回路が、スイッチ制御回路と、前記電源電圧及びニュートラルを前記加熱要素と相互接続させる複数のスイッチとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記腹膜透析液の加温を開始又は停止させるために、前記スイッチ制御回路が、個別に生成される加熱器オン/オフ信号に応答して、前記スイッチが前記電源電圧及びニュートラルを前記加熱要素に接続するよう制御することを特徴とする請求項1記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記複数のスイッチが第1、第2、第3及び第4のスイッチを含み、前記第1のスイッチが閉じると前記加熱要素のうち一方の加熱要素の端部が220VACの電源電圧に接続され、前記第2のスイッチが閉じると前記加熱要素のうちの一方の加熱要素の端部がニュートラルに接続され、前記第3のスイッチが閉じると前記電源電圧が前記センタータップに接続され、前記第4のスイッチが閉じると前記加熱要素のうち他方の加熱要素の端部がニュートラルに接続され、前記電圧検出回路の前記出力が電圧電源が110VACであることを示す場合には前記スイッチ制御回路が前記第2、第3及び第4のスイッチを閉じ、前記電圧検出回路の前記出力が、電圧電源が220VACであることを示す場合には前記スイッチ制御回路が前記第1及び第4のスイッチを閉じることを特徴とする請求項7記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 前記腹膜透析液の加温を開始又は停止させるために、前記スイッチ制御回路が、個別に生成される加熱器オン/オフ信号に応答して、前記スイッチに、前記電源電圧及びニュートラルを前記加熱要素に接続させることを特徴とする請求項9記載の可搬型腹膜透析器。
- 腹膜透析液供給源を設ける工程と、
注入前に前記腹膜透析液を加熱するよう構成された、相互接続された複数の加熱要素を設ける工程と、
電源電圧を自動的に検出する工程と、
少なくとも2つの実質的に異なる電源電圧において前記腹膜透析液を加熱するための同じワット量を供給するために、前記検出された電源電圧に応答して、前記電源電圧及びニュートラルと前記相互接続された複数の加熱要素との接続を自動的に再構成する工程と、
前記再構成された加熱要素を用いて前記腹膜透析液を加熱する工程と、
患者に前記腹膜透析液を注入する工程と
を備えることを特徴とする腹膜透析を行う方法。 - 前記設けられる加熱要素が、少なくとも1つの接合部を介して直列接続され、前記再構成する工程が、一方の電源電圧では直列接続された前記加熱要素に該電源電圧を自動的に印加し、他方の電源電圧では並列接続された前記加熱要素に該電源電圧を自動的に印加することを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。
