Abstract
【解決手段】集電体上に活性炭の分極性電極層を形成して正極を作製する工程、集電体上に炭素材料の電極層を形成して負極を作製する工程、正極と負極をセパレータを介して巻回して素子を作製する工程、素子をLiイオンを含む電解液と共にケース内に収容する工程、ケースを封止する工程とを有し、蒸着で基板上に形成したLi層を負極電極層に転写して表面にLi層を形成することにより、負極作製時点で電極層にLiイオンがすぐに吸蔵される状態になり、後工程でLiイオンを吸蔵させる工程が不要で生産性向上によるコスト低減と、電極層に対するLiイオンの吸蔵状態が安定して優れた性能が得られる。

Description
以下、実施の形態を用いて、本発明の特に全請求項に記載の発明について説明する。
まず、正極として、厚さ30μmの高純度アルミニウム箔(Al:99.99%以上)を集電体2として用い、塩酸系のエッチング液中で電解エッチングして表面を粗面化した。
負極を構成する集電体として、予め表裏面を粗面化処理した平均厚さ15μmの銅箔を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして電気化学キャパシタを作製した。
負極を構成する集電体として、予め表裏面を粗面化処理した平均厚さ15μmの銅箔を用い、この集電体上にアンカー層を12μm塗布した。

Claims (5)
- 金属箔からなる集電体上に活性炭を主体とした分極性電極層を形成して正極を作製する工程と、金属箔からなる集電体上に炭素材料を主体とした電極層を形成して負極を作製する工程と、上記正極と負極をその間にセパレータを介在させて夫々の電極層が対向した状態で積層または巻回することにより素子を作製する工程と、この素子をリチウムイオンを含む有機系電解液と共にケース内に収容する工程と、このケースの開口部を封止する工程とを有した電気化学キャパシタの製造方法において、気相法または液相法により基板上にリチウム層を形成し、このリチウム層を上記負極作製工程で得られた負極の電極層表面に転写することにより、負極の電極層表面にリチウム層を形成するようにした電気化学キャパシタの製造方法。
- 気相法または液相法により基板上に形成されたリチウム層の基板との剥離強度が、負極の集電体上に形成された電極層の集電体との剥離強度より小さくなるようにした請求項1に記載の電気化学キャパシタの製造方法。
- 気相法によりリチウム層を形成する基板にポリプロピレンを用いた請求項1に記載の電気化学キャパシタの製造方法。
- 気相法によりポリプロピレンの基板上にリチウム層を形成する際に、基板の温度を所定の温度以下に保つようにした請求項3に記載の電気化学キャパシタの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の電気化学キャパシタの製造方法を用いて作製した電気化学キャパシタ。
