Description
Claims (13)
- 固定部(1; 101; 201)と、複数の一次薄板バンド(7; 107; 207)を有する回転一次部(3; 103; 203)と、複数の二次薄板バンド(20; 120; 220)を有する同軸で回転する二次部(4; 104; 204)とを含み、磁性流体を含む作動空間 (21; 121; 221) 内には、前記複数の一次薄板バンド(7; 107; 207)及び二次薄板バンド(20; 120; 220)が径方向に交互に連続して並び、前記磁性流体に作用する調整可能な磁場を持つ磁性流体クラッチであって、
a) 第1ヨーク(24, 24'; 124, 124'; 224, 224')及びほぼ径方向の巻き線軸をそれぞれが有する多くの磁気コイル(25, 25'; 125, 125'; 225, 225')は、磁性流体を含む前記作動空間(21; 121; 221)に配置され、前記第1ヨークは周方向にわたって分布して配置され、前記複数の一次薄板バンド(7; 107; 207) 及び二次薄板バンド(20; 120; 220)が、前記第1ヨーク(24, 24'; 124, 124'; 224, 224')の外側と内側の少なくとも一方に配置され、隣接する前記磁気コイル(25, 25'; 125, 125'; 225, 225')はそれぞれ反対の磁極を有し、
b)前記第1ヨーク(24, 24'; 124, 124'; 224, 224')は、筒状端面(26, 31; 126, 31; 226, 231)を有し、磁力線(40, 40', 41, 42; 140, 140', 141, 142; 240, 240', 242, 242)のほとんどが筒状端面のほぼ径方向の外へ出て中へ入り、前記筒状端面の曲率の軸がクラッチの回転軸(9; 109; 209)であり、
c)複数の一次薄板バンド(7; 107; 207)及び複数の二次薄板バンド(20; 120; 220)は、 閉じた筒状ジャケットであり、
d)外側と内側の第2ヨーク(34, 37; 134, 137; 234, 237)は、前記作動空間(21; 121; 221)を外縁と内縁に区画し、前記作動空間は、前記第1ヨーク(24, 24'; 124, 124'; 224, 224')の径方向の外方及び内方に延び、前記磁力線(40, 40'; 140, 140'; 240, 240')は、径方向に前記第2ヨーク(24, 24'; 124, 124'; 224, 224')に入り、再び径方向反対向きに該第2ヨークから出ることを、特徴とする磁性流体クラッチ。 - 前記第1ヨーク(24, 24'; 124, 124'; 224, 224')は、該第1ヨークの磁気コイル(25, 25'; 125, 125'; 225, 225')と組み合わされて、第1ヨーク・リング(28; 128; 228)を形成することを特徴とする請求項2記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記第1ヨーク(24, 24'; 124, 124'; 224, 224')及び、もしくは、前記第2ヨーク(34, 37; 134, 137; 234, 237)は、金属シートで構成されるか、もしくは、高い磁気透過性の焼結された材料から成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記第1ヨーク(24, 24')は、回転可能に一次部(3)に固定接続され、前記第2ヨーク(34, 37)は、回転可能に二次部(3)に固定接続され、ライン(33)が、前記磁気コイル(25,25')へ電源を供給するために、前記一次部内(4)に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記第1ヨーク(124)は、回転可能に前記二次部(4)に固定接続され、前記第2ヨーク(134, 137)は、同様に、回転可能に前記二次部(4)に固定接続され、ライン(133)が、前記磁気コイルへ電源を供給するために、前記二次部(4)内に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 一次薄板バンド(7, 7*)及び二次薄板バンド(20, 20*)は、前記第1ヨーク(24)の外側と内側に配置され、前記外側の第2ヨーク(34)は筒状内面(35)を持ち、該内面は前記薄板バンド(7,20)に平行で同軸であり、前記内側の第2ヨーク(37)は、筒状外面(38)を有し、該外面は前記薄板バンド(7*, 20*)と平行で同軸であることを特徴とする請求項4もしくは、請求項5記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記一次薄板バンド(107)及び二次薄板バンド(120)は、前記第1ヨーク(124、124')の外側に配置され、前記内側の第2ヨーク(137)は、前記第1ヨーク(124)に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記薄板バンドは、高い磁気透過性の材料からなり、低い磁気透過性ゾーンを有し、該ゾーンは周方向にわたって分布し、軸方向に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記低い磁気透過性ゾーンは、連続穴(50)からなる列(51; 52)から成ることを特徴とする請求項8記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 連続穴からなる列(51)は、急勾配の螺旋状であることを特徴とする請求項9記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 連続穴の列は組み合わされてスリット(150; 151)を形成することを特徴とする請求項9記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記一次薄板バンド(107)の低い磁気透過性ゾーンの形状・長さは、前記二次薄板バンド(120)の低い磁気透過性ゾーンの形状・長さとは異なることを特徴とする請求項9記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
- 前記第1ヨーク(224)及び前記内側の第2ヨーク(237)は、ハウジング(201)に固定接続され、前記外側の第2ヨーク(234)は、前記二次部(204)に接続され、
筒状面(235)を有し、該筒状面の内側が前記薄板バンド(207, 220)に向きあい、該薄板バンドに平行で同軸であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁性流体クラッチ。
