Abstract
Description
(A)a)30〜67質量%の少なくとも1つの熱可塑性ポリエステルポリマーおよび
b)0〜15質量%の他のポリマー(そのうち0〜0.3質量%はフッ素ポリマー)
からなるポリマー組成物と、
(B)a)33〜55質量%のメラミン・シアヌレート、
b)元素リンを含まない0〜2質量%未満のリン含有難燃剤、および
c)リンを含まない0〜5質量%の無機難燃性共力剤
からなる難燃システムと、
(C)0〜10質量%の他の添加剤(そのうち0〜5質量%は繊維状強化剤)と
からなり、
かつ、ここで、成分(A)〜(C)の合計が100質量%になり、そして質量百分率すべてが組成物の総質量を基準とする、
本発明によるハロゲン−フリー難燃化ポリエステル組成物で達成された。
(A)a)30〜65質量%の少なくとも1つの熱可塑性ポリエステルポリマーおよび
b)ハロゲン含有ポリマーを含まない、0〜15質量%の他のポリマー
からなるポリマー組成物と、
(B)a)33〜50質量%のメラミン・シアヌレート、および
b)リンを含まない0〜3質量%の無機難燃性共力剤
からなる難燃システムと、
(C)繊維状強化剤を含まない、0〜10質量%の他の添加剤と
からなり、
かつ、成分(A)〜(C)の合計が100質量%になり、そして質量百分率すべてが組成物の総質量を基準とする組成物からなる。
出発成分として次の材料を適用した:
・1.98の相対溶液粘度(RSV)(ISO(国際標準化機構)307に準拠して、m−クレゾール中の1質量%溶液について25℃で測定される際に)、および52ミリ当量/kgのカルボン酸末端基(Ec)のPBTポリマー、
・チバ・スペシャルティ・ケミカルズ(Ciba Specialty Chemicals)から入手可能な、メラプール(Melapur)(登録商標)MC XL、圧縮メラミン・シアヌレート、
・ペンタエリスリトールテトラステアレート(ラディア(Radia)(登録商標)7176)金型剥離剤(全組成物の0.25質量%で)。
実施例Iと同じように、組成物をそれぞれ、1.85および2.10のRSV、ならびに32および21ミリ当量/kgのEcのPBTポリマーから製造した。
これらの実験では、組成物のメラミン・シアヌレート含量を低くするか、または幾らかのガラス繊維(ポリエステルに好適なサイジング剤付き細断ガラス繊維として)、および/または少量のPTFE(ダイネオン(Dyneon)TF1654)を添加した。サンプル調製中にPTFEは他の成分と一緒にゾーン5で投与したが、ガラス繊維はゾーン8で溶融物へ下流で投与した。他の条件および評価は、溶融物の温度が約315℃未満に留まるように押出量を減らしたサンプルEおよびFを除いて実施例I〜IIIに類似していた。
実施例IVの組成物については、実施例IIIを繰り返した。
本実験では、組成物のメラミン・シアヌレート含量を低くし、ジエチレンホスフィナート亜鉛(DEPZn、イクソリット(Exolit)OP950、かつてのクラリアント(Clariant))で一部置き換え、そしてガラス繊維(ポリエステルに好適なサイジング剤付き細断ガラス繊維として)を添加した。他の成分はゾーン5で投与したが、ガラス繊維はゾーン8で溶融物へ下流で投与した。他の条件および評価は、溶融物の温度が約315℃未満に留まるように押出量を減らしたことを除いて実施例I〜IIIに類似していた。
Claims (12)
- 熱可塑性ポリエステルとメラミン・シアヌレートとを含むハロゲンフリー難燃化熱可塑性ポリエステル成形組成物であって、
(A)a)30〜67質量%の少なくとも1つの熱可塑性ポリエステルポリマーおよび
b)0〜15質量%の他のポリマー(そのうち0〜0.3質量%はフッ素ポリマー)
からなるポリマー組成物と、
(B)a)33〜55質量%のメラミン・シアヌレート、
b)元素リンを含まない0〜2質量%未満のリン含有難燃剤、および
c)リンを含まない0〜5質量%の無機難燃性共力剤
からなる難燃システムと、
(C)0〜10質量%の他の添加剤(そのうち0〜5質量%は繊維状強化剤)と
からなり、
かつ、ここで、成分(A)〜(C)の合計が100質量%になり、そして質量百分率すべてが組成物の総質量を基準とすることを特徴とする組成物。 - 前記熱可塑性ポリエステルがポリ(アルキレンテレフタレート)である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリマー組成物がポリ(ブチレンテレフタレート)もしくはポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)、またはそれらの混合物もしくはコポリマーからなり、好ましくはポリ(ブチレンテレフタレート)である、請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- 実質的にフッ素ポリマーを含まない、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記他のポリマー(A−b)がゴム状耐衝撃改質剤である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 組成物の総質量を基準として、37〜45質量%のメラミン・シアヌレートを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記難燃システムが成分(A)〜(C)の合計の総量を基準として1質量%未満のリン含有難燃剤(B−b)を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- メラミン・シアヌレートが唯一の難燃性添加剤である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 繊維状強化剤を含まない、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 成形組成物の総質量を基準として0.25質量%未満のリン−含量を有する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- (A)a)30〜65質量%の少なくとも1つの熱可塑性ポリエステルポリマーおよび
b)ハロゲン含有ポリマーを含まない、0〜15質量%の他のポリマー
からなるポリマー組成物と、
(B)a)35〜50質量%のメラミン・シアヌレート、および
b)リンを含まない0〜3質量%の無機難燃性共力剤
からなる難燃システムと、
(C)繊維状強化剤を含まない、0〜10質量%の他の添加剤と
からなり、
かつ、成分(A)〜(C)の合計が100質量%になり、そして質量百分率すべてが組成物の総質量を基準とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。 - 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のポリエステル組成物を含む、電気または電子用途での使用のための成形部品。
