Abstract
【解決手段】画素電極と共通電極とを保護膜を介して多層に配置した横電界方式のアクティブマトリクス型液晶表示装置において、前記画素電極を画素開口部の全体を覆って配置し、前記共通電極を、画素開口部ではデータ線に沿って櫛歯状に配置し、データ線直上ではデータ線直上のみにパターン形成された有機膜を介して配置する。

Claims (3)
- 画素電極と共通電極とを保護膜を介して多層に配置した横電界方式のアクティブマトリクス型液晶表示装置において、前記画素電極は画素開口部の全体を覆って配置され、前記共通電極は、画素開口部ではデータ線に沿って櫛歯状に配置され、データ線直上ではデータ線直上のみにパターン形成された有機膜を介して配置されていることを特徴とする横電界方式のアクティブマトリクス型液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極の端部とデータ線真上に配置された前記共通電極とは所定幅だけ重畳していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の横電界方式のアクティブマトリクス型液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極及び前記共通電極の夫々は、画素開口部において、櫛歯状で且つ重畳しないように配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の横電界方式のアクティブマトリクス型液晶表示装置。
