Abstract
【解決手段】金属箔の平箔と波箔を積層してなるハニカム体と、その外周を囲む金属製の外筒から構成される触媒を担持するためのメタル基材において、前記外筒及びハニカム体を構成する材料がFe−Cr−Al系合金であって、外筒材を構成する材料のAl質量%+0.5×Si質量%で表される値Aと、ハニカム体を構成する箔のAl質量%+0.5×Si質量%で表される値Bが次式を満足する、耐冷熱耐久性に優れた触媒担持用メタル基材である。

- 金属箔の平箔と波箔を積層してなるハニカム体と、その外周を囲む金属製の外筒から構成される触媒を担持するためのメタル基材において、前記外筒およびハニカム体を構成する材料がFe−Cr−Al系合金であって、外筒材を構成する材料のAl質量%+0.5×Si質量%で表される値Aと、ハニカム体を構成する箔のAl質量%+0.5×Si質量%で表される値Bが次式を満足する、耐冷熱耐久性に優れた触媒担持用メタル基材。
0.2×B+0.3≦A≦0.36×B+0.5 - 外筒を構成する材料のAlとSiの含有量が次式を満足する請求項1に記載の触媒担持用メタル基材。
0.23×B+0.4≦A≦0.3×B+0.5
