Abstract
【解決手段】中央に位置しかつ爆発順序が一つおきの一対の気筒#2,#3の各排気ポート8,9がシリンダヘッド1内で互いに集合せしめられて一つの集合排気ポート11にされる。両端に位置しかつ爆発順序が一つおきの一対の気筒#1,#4の排気ポート7,10は夫々これら気筒#1,#4から集合排気ポート11に向け延設された後、集合排気ポート11の両側において集合排気ポート11と薄肉壁12,13を隔だてて集合排気ポート11に沿いつつシリンダヘッド1の側壁面5まで延設される。

Claims (4)
- シリンダヘッドがその内部に排気ポートを形成していると共にこれら排気ポートが開口する側壁面を具備する直列4気筒内燃機関において、中央に位置しかつ爆発順序が一つおきの一対の気筒の各排気ポートがシリンダヘッド内で互いに集合せしめられて一つの集合排気ポートにされると共に該集合排気ポートが上記シリンダヘッド側壁面まで延設され、両端に位置しかつ爆発順序が一つおきの一対の気筒の排気ポートは夫々これら気筒から上記集合排気ポートに向け延設された後、該集合排気ポートの両側において該集合排気ポートと薄肉壁を隔だてて該集合排気ポートに沿いつつ上記シリンダヘッド側壁面まで延設される内燃機関。
- 上記両端に位置する一対の気筒の排気ポートの通路長が上記中央に位置する一対の気筒の排気ポートの通路長よりも長い請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 上記両端に位置する一対の気筒の排気ポートは該集合排気ポートの開口部の両側において上記シリンダヘッド側壁面上に開口する請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 上記シリンダヘッド側壁面上において上記集合排気ポートの開口部に集合排気ポート用排気管が連結され、該シリンダヘッド側壁面上において上記両端に位置する一対の気筒の排気ポートの開口部に夫々排気枝管が連結され、これら排気枝管は互いに集合せしめられた後に該集合排気ポート用排気管に連結される請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
