Abstract
【解決手段】内燃機関の点火順序の連続しない気筒群への分枝管3A〜3Fを集合させる複数の集合部1A、1Bを連通させる通路7Aに、開閉可能なポート12を有する制御弁8Aのフレーム11を挿入し、フレーム11の外周と前記通路7Aとの間でシールする可変吸気装置のシール構造であり、前記フレーム11の外周に沿って形成した周溝18に前記通路要素の構成体の縁を嵌め合わせ、両者の嵌合部間の隙間により構成したラビリンスシールと、前記フレーム11先端側と通路要素の前記縁とのいずれか一方から他方に向けて突出し、先端が他方の部材を弾性的に挟む一対の突起20と、を備えるようにした。

Claims (5)
- 内燃機関の点火順序の連続しない気筒群に連通する分枝管同士を集合させる複数の集合部と、これら集合部を連通させる通路を運転条件に応じて開閉する制御弁とを備え、前記制御弁は開閉可能なポートを有するフレームを通路要素に挿入してフレームの外周と通路要素の構成体との間でシールする可変吸気装置のシール構造において、
前記フレームの外周に沿って形成した周溝に前記通路要素の構成体の縁を嵌め合わせ、両者の嵌合部間の隙間により構成したラビリンスシールと、
前記フレーム先端側と通路要素の前記縁とのいずれか一方から他方に向けて突出し、先端が他方の部材を弾性的に挟む一対の突起と、を備えることを特徴とする可変吸気装置のシール構造。 - 前記フレームは、先端側においてアーチ状に形成され、アーチ部の中央にポートの開閉弁体の弁軸を軸受支持して備え、
前記アーチ部の両肩部から他方に向けて突出し、他方の部材の両面に弾性的に接触して他方の部材を挟み付ける一対の突起を夫々備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変吸気装置のシール構造。 - 前記一対の突起は、弁軸と平行に突出していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の可変吸気装置のシール構造。
- 前記突起は、基部から先端までの弾性変形により他方の部材に弾性的に接触することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一つに記載の可変吸気装置のシール構造。
- 前記他方の部材の両面には、前記一対の突起先端の間隔に比較して大きい寸法の凸部が形成され、前記突起はフレーム組付時に、前記凸部により互いの間の間隔寸法を拡大して凸部に係合することにより、他方の部材を弾性的に挟み付けるものであることを特徴とする請求項2から請求項4のいずれか一つに記載の可変吸気装置のシール構造。
