Abstract
【解決手段】光源Aと、光源Aから放射された光を反射するための反射面を有するリフレクタG1,G2と、リフレクタG1,G2からの反射光を車両の前方に反射するための反射面を有するリフレクタD1,D2とを具備する車両用前照灯において、光源Aを支持するための支持部材(D3)をリフレクタG1,G2とは別個の部材によって形成し、リフレクタD1,D2によって車両の前方に照射される配光パターンにカットオフラインを形成するためのエッジ部分(H1A,H2A)を、リフレクタG1,G2には設けず、支持部材(D3)に設けた。

Claims (10)
- 光源と、前記光源から放射された光を反射するための反射面を有する第1リフレクタと、前記第1リフレクタからの反射光を車両の前方に反射するための反射面を有する第2リフレクタとを具備する車両用前照灯において、前記光源を支持するための支持部材を前記第1リフレクタとは別個の部材によって形成し、前記第2リフレクタによって車両の前方に照射される配光パターンにカットオフラインを形成するためのエッジ部分を、前記第1リフレクタには設けず、前記支持部材に設けたことを特徴とする車両用前照灯。
- 前記エッジ部分が設けられた前記支持部材と、前記第2リフレクタとを一部材によって形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 車両の前面から側面に回り込むように配置された請求項1又は2に記載の車両用前照灯において、前記光源よりも車両の中心側および前記光源よりも車両の側面側のそれぞれに前記第1リフレクタを設け、車両の中心側の第1リフレクタの反射面の第1焦点上またはその近傍に前記光源が位置し、かつ、車両の側面側の第1リフレクタの反射面の第1焦点上またはその近傍に前記光源が位置するように、車両の中心側の第1リフレクタおよび車両の側面側の第1リフレクタを配置し、前記光源よりも車両の中心側および前記光源よりも車両の側面側のそれぞれに前記第2リフレクタを設け、車両の中心側の第1リフレクタの反射面の第2焦点から車両の側面側の第2リフレクタの反射面までの平均距離が、車両の側面側の第1リフレクタの反射面の第2焦点から車両の中心側の第2リフレクタの反射面までの平均距離の約1.5〜2倍になるように、車両の側面側の第2リフレクタの反射面および車両の中心側の第2リフレクタの反射面を形成したことを特徴とする車両用前照灯。
- 車両の側面側の第2リフレクタの反射面の面積が、車両の中心側の第2リフレクタの反射面の面積の約2〜3倍になるように、車両の側面側の第2リフレクタの反射面および車両の中心側の第2リフレクタの反射面を形成したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 車両の側面側の第2リフレクタの反射面による集光度合いを車両の中心側の第2リフレクタの反射面による集光度合いより大きくしたことを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記光源の中心軸線が車両の中心側の第1リフレクタの水平断面曲線とほぼ平行になるように前記光源を配置し、前記光源からの放射光を通過させるための第1透過穴を車両の中心側の第1リフレクタに形成したことを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記光源から放射された光を反射するための反射面を前記支持部材に形成し、前記支持部材の反射面からの反射光を車両の前方に照射するための第2透過穴を車両の中心側の第1リフレクタと車両の側面側の第1リフレクタとの間に配置したことを特徴とする請求項3〜6のいずれか一項に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記第2透過穴を通過した光を拡散させるために所定の光透過性を有する拡散板を設け、前記拡散板を、前記第2透過穴より車両の側面側の位置から車両の前側に延ばし、かつ、車両の中心側に湾曲させたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記第2透過穴を通過した光のうち、前記拡散板を通過せしめられた屈折光が前記拡散板によって拡散せしめられて車両の前方または側方に照射され、前記拡散板によって反射せしめられた反射光が車両の前方に照射されるように、前記拡散板を形成したことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記拡散板と車両の側面側の第1リフレクタとを一部材により形成したことを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の車両用前照灯。
