Abstract
【解決手段】磁性材料層の上下に位置する上層コイル線群及び下層コイル線群と、上層コイル線群及び下層コイル線群の各コイル線の端部同士を接続するコイルコンタクト群とが、磁性材料層に記録磁界を与える一連の薄膜コイルを構成する薄膜磁気ヘッドにおいて、コイルコンタクト群と同一の積層高さ位置に、コイルコンタクト群の各コイルコンタクト間を埋める絶縁レジスト層と、コイルコンタクト群の間を埋める無機絶縁層とを有する。

Claims (3)
- 磁性材料層の上下にそれぞれ位置し、トラック幅方向に長いコイル線をハイト方向に複数配列してなる上層コイル線群及び下層コイル線群と、この上層コイル線群及び下層コイル線群の各コイル線の両端部に形成され、該各コイル線の端部同士を接続する二列のコイルコンタクト群とを有し、前記上層コイル線群、下層コイル線群及び二列のコイルコンタクト群が、前記磁性材料層に記録磁界を与える一連の薄膜コイルを構成する薄膜磁気ヘッドにおいて、
前記二列のコイルコンタクト群と同一の積層高さ位置に、該コイルコンタクト群層の各コイルコンタクト間を埋める絶縁レジスト層と、前記二列のコイルコンタクト群間を埋める無機絶縁層とを有することを特徴とする薄膜磁気ヘッド。 - 磁性材料層の上下にそれぞれ位置し、トラック幅方向に長いコイル線をハイト方向に複数配列してなる上層コイル線群及び下層コイル線群と、この上層コイル線群及び下層コイル線群の各コイル線の両端部に形成され、該各コイル線の端部同士を接続する二列のコイルコンタクト群と、このコイルコンタクト群と同一の積層高さ位置に形成され、前記磁性材料層と磁気的に接続する補助ヨーク層とを有し、前記上層コイル線群、下層コイル線群及び二列のコイルコンタクト群が、前記磁性材料層に記録磁界を与える一連の薄膜コイルを構成する薄膜磁気ヘッドにおいて、
前記二列のコイルコンタクト群と同一の積層高さ位置に、前記補助ヨーク層に非接触で前記コイルコンタクト群の各コイルコンタクト層間を埋める絶縁レジストと、該各コイルコンタクト群と前記補助ヨーク層の間を埋める無機絶縁層が形成されている薄膜磁気ヘッド。 - 請求項1または2記載の薄膜磁気ヘッドにおいて、前記無機絶縁層はAl2O3、SiO2またはAl−Si−Oからなる薄膜磁気ヘッド。
