Abstract
【解決手段】 トルク配分機構Aを作動させる油圧を発生するオイルポンプ51を、差動装置Dのディファレンシャルケース36の回転によりギヤ59,58および回転軸54を介して駆動するので、左右の車輪の回転状態に関わらず、つまり左右一方の車輪が停止している場合でも、回転しているディファレンシャルケース36の駆動力でオイルポンプ51を駆動してトルク配分機構Aを確実に作動させることができる。またオイルポンプ51を収納するポンプユニット45を差動装置Dおよびトルク配分機構間Aを仕切る隔壁32aに支持したので、オイルポンプ51の支持が容易になる。

第3サンギヤ19の歯数 Ze=28
第3サンギヤ19は右出力軸9Rの外周に嵌合するスリーブ21および右クラッチCRを介してトルク配分機構Aのハウジング20に結合可能であり、右クラッチCRの締結によってキャリヤ部材11の回転数が増速される。またキャリヤ部材11は左クラッチCLを介してハウジング20に結合可能であり、左クラッチCLの締結によってキャリヤ部材11の回転数が減速される。

上述のようにして右後輪WRRの回転数NRが左後輪WRLの回転数NLに対して増速されると、図10に斜線を施した矢印で示したように、旋回内輪である左後輪WRLのトルクの一部を旋回外輪である右後輪WRRに伝達し、車両の左旋回をアシストして旋回性能を高めることができる。

上述のようにして左後輪WRLの回転数NLが右後輪WRRの回転数NRに対して増速されると、図11に斜線を施した矢印で示したように、旋回内輪である右後輪WRRのトルクの一部を旋回外輪である左後輪WRLに伝達することができる。この場合にも、右クラッチCRの締結力を適宜調整してキャリヤ部材11の回転数を増速すれば、その増速に応じて左後輪WRLの回転数NLを右後輪WRRの回転数NRに対して増速し、旋回内輪である右後輪WRRから旋回外輪である左後輪WRLに任意のトルクを伝達し、車両の右旋回をアシストして旋回性能を高めることができる。

Claims (6)
- 駆動源(E)からのトルクが入力される差動装置(D)と、差動装置(D)に入力されたトルクを左右の車輪(WFL,WFR;WRL,WRR)に任意の比率で配分するトルク配分機構(A)とを備えた車両用駆動力配分装置において、
トルク配分機構(A)を作動させる油圧を発生するオイルポンプ(51)を、差動装置(D)のディファレンシャルケース(36)の回転により駆動することを特徴とする車両用駆動力配分装置。 - オイルポンプ(51)を収納するポンプユニット(45)を差動装置(D)およびトルク配分機構(A)間を仕切る隔壁(32a)に支持したことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両用駆動力配分装置。
- ポンプユニット(45)にトルク配分機構(A)の油圧制御回路を組み込んだことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の車両用駆動力配分装置。
- ポンプユニット(45)を前記隔壁(32a)よりもトルク配分機構(A)側に配置したことを特徴とする、請求項2または請求項3に記載の車両用駆動力配分装置。
- 前記隔壁(32a)をシール部材(60,61)を介して貫通する回転軸(54)でオイルポンプ(51)をディファレンシャルケース(36)に接続したことを特徴とする、請求項2〜請求項4の何れか1項に記載の車両用駆動力配分装置。
- 前記シール部材(60,61)を、差動装置(D)側からのオイル漏れを阻止する第1シール部材(60)とトルク配分機構(A)側からのオイル漏れを阻止する第2シール部材(61)とで構成し、第1、第2シール部材(60,61)間を大気に連通させたことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の車両用駆動力配分装置。
