Abstract
Description
エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー中のモンモリロナイトマスターバッチを、250ml混合ボウルを備えたBrabender(商標)ミキサーを用いて製造した。ミキサーを、混合温度120℃、および、混合速度100RPMに設定した。ミキサーには、最初にDuPont Elvax 265(商標)エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー(EVA−1)、および、Irganox 1010FF(商標)テトラキス[メチレン(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシヒドロ−シンナマート)]メタンを充填した。このエチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマーは、28重量パーセントの酢酸ビニルを含有し、メルトインデックスは3グラム/10分であった。混合物が完全に溶融した後、続いてミキサーに、30重量パーセントのオクタデシルアンモニウムで処理された、Nanocor,Inc.より市販のNanomer I.30P(商標)モンモリロナイトクレーを充填した。
実施例2〜44の準備として、250ml混合ボウルを備えたBrabender(商標)ミキサーをまた用いた。ミキサーを、混合温度110℃、および、混合速度80RPMに設定した。
実施例2〜7および8〜16は、成分が35重量パーセントの組成物を表す。35パーセント組成物から製造した試験片のうち、評価V0を達成したものはなかった。
実施例17〜21および22〜29は、成分が50重量パーセントの組成物を表す。50パーセント組成物から製造した試験片のうち、評価V0を達成したものはなかった。
実施例30〜35および36〜44は、成分が65重量パーセントの組成物を表す。実施例35および44に示すような、65重量パーセントの金属水酸化物のみを含む難燃性添加剤混合物を含む組成物から製造した試験片は、評価V0を達成した。実施例42に示すような、65重量パーセントの炭酸カルシウムのみを含む難燃性添加剤混合物を含む組成物から製造した試験片は、評価V0を達成できなかった。
Claims (18)
- a)ポリオレフィンポリマー、
b)ナノシリケート、
c)金属水酸化物、および、
d)炭酸カルシウム、
を含む、難燃性組成物。 - 前記ポリオレフィンポリマーが、エチレンポリマー類、および、プロピレンポリマー類からなる群より選択される、請求項1の難燃性組成物。
- 前記ナノシリケートが、層状ナノシリケートである、請求項1の難燃性組成物。
- 前記ナノシリケートが、0.1重量パーセントから15重量パーセントの間の量で存在する、請求項3の難燃性組成物。
- 前記ナノシリケートが、モンモリロナイト、マガディアイト、フッ化合成マイカ、サポナイト、フルオロヘクトライト、ラポナイト、セピオライト、アタパルジャイト、ヘクトライト、ベイデライト、バーミキュライト、カオリナイト、ノントロナイト、ボルコンスコアイト、ステベンサイト、パイロサイト、ソーコナイト、および、ケニヤアイトからなる群より選択される、請求項3の難燃性組成物。
- 前記ナノシリケートが、モンモリロナイトおよびマガディアイトからなる群より選択される、請求項5の難燃性組成物。
- 前記ナノシリケートが、有機カチオンで処理されている、請求項3の難燃性組成物。
- 前記有機カチオンが、イミダゾリウム、ホスホニウム、アンモニウム、アルキルアンモニウム、および、ポリアルキルアンモニウムからなる群より選択される、請求項7の難燃性組成物。
- 前記金属水酸化物が、アルミニウムトリヒドロキシド、および、水酸化マグネシウムからなる群より選択される、請求項1の難燃性組成物。
- 前記金属水酸化物の表面が、シラン類、チタネート類、ジルコネート類、カルボン酸類、および、無水マレイン酸グラフトポリマー類からなる群より選択される材料で被覆されている、請求項1の難燃性組成物。
- 前記炭酸カルシウム類の表面が、シラン類、チタネート類、ジルコネート類、カルボン酸類、および、無水マレイン酸グラフトポリマー類からなる群より選択される材料で被覆されている、請求項1の難燃性組成物。
- 請求項1の難燃性組成物より製造されるコーティング。
- 電線またはケーブルに対して請求項12の被覆を施して製造される、難燃性電線またはケーブル構造物。
- 請求項1の難燃性組成物から製造された物品であって、前記物品が、押出シート類、熱成形シート類、射出成形物品類、コーティング布類、屋根材用メンブレン類、および、壁紙類からなる群より選択される、物品。
- a)エチレンポリマー類およびプロピレンポリマー類からなる群より選択される、ポリオレフィンポリマー、
b)モンモリロナイトおよびマガディアイトからなる群より選択される、層状ナノシリケート、
c)アルミニウムトリヒドロキシドおよび水酸化マグネシウムからなる群より選択される、金属水酸化物、ならびに、
d)炭酸カルシウム、
を含む、難燃性組成物。 - 請求項15の難燃性組成物より製造されるコーティング。
- 電線またはケーブルに対して請求項16の被覆を施して製造された、難燃性電線またはケーブル構造物。
- 請求項15の難燃性組成物から製造された物品であって、前記物品が、押出シート類、熱成形シート類、射出成形物品類、コーティング布類、屋根材用メンブレン類、および、壁紙類からなる群より選択される、物品。
