Abstract
Description
本出願は、2003年2月4日に出願された、発明者David W.Baarmanの「適応誘導結合安定回路」という名称の米国仮特許出願第60/444,794号に基づく優先権を主張するものである。前記出願の全開示は、引用により、本出願に組み入れられる。本出願は、「誘導動力装置」という名称の米国特許出願第10/357,932号の一部継続出願であり、これは、引用により本出願に組み入れられる。
遠隔装置を充電式電源と結合するためのアダプタは、非接触電源インターフェース、及び電力を遠隔装置に供給するための電力調整器を持つ。
図1は、アダプタ14を介して遠隔装置12に接続されたCPS10を示している。遠隔装置12は、ノートブックコンピュータ、PDA(携帯情報端末)、セルラー電話、MP3(エムペグオーディオレイヤー3)プレーヤ、又は無数の携帯電子装置のうちの任意の一つとすることができるであろう。CPS10は、アダプタ14を通して、遠隔装置12に電力を提供する。さらに、多くの遠隔装置がそうであるように、遠隔装置12がコミュニケーションバスを持つ場合には、CPS10は、アダプタ14を介して、遠隔装置12と直接通信できるであろう。
Claims (46)
- 遠隔装置充電式電源を持つ遠隔装置のためのアダプタであって、
非接触電源から電力を受け取るための非接触電源インターフェース、
前記遠隔装置に電力を供給するための電力調整器、及び、
前記アダプタに電力を供給するための充電式電源、
を備えることを特徴とするアダプタ。 - 前記非接触電源と通信するための送受信機、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアダプタ。 - 前記電力調整器を制御する制御装置、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアダプタ。 - 前記遠隔装置と通信するための通信リンク、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のアダプタ。 - 前記非接触電源インターフェースが、インピーダンスを持つ可変インピーダンス要素を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のアダプタ。 - 前記制御装置は、前記可変インピーダンス要素に結合され、前記可変インピーダンス要素の前記インピーダンスを変化させることができる
