Abstract
当接する相手部材とのスムーズな滑りによりスティックスリップ音を防止した駆動車輪用軸受装置を提供する。
【解決手段】
外方部材10と、ハブ輪2、およびこのハブ輪2に圧入された内輪3とからなる内方部材1と、両部材間に収容された複数の転動体6と、内方部材1にトルク伝達可能に内嵌された等速自在継手11の外側継手部材14とを備え、この外側継手部材14に締結された固定ナット16の緊締力によって軸受の予圧量を管理するようにした駆動車輪用軸受装置において、外側継手部材14の肩部12に環状凹所17が形成され、この環状凹所17に複数枚のプレート18a、18bが積層されると共に、少なくとも一側面に複数の凹所21が形成され、かつプレート18a、18bの側面に潤滑剤が塗布されている。

図1は、本発明に係る駆動車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は図1の要部拡大図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウトボード側(図面左側)、中央寄り側をインボード側(図面右側)という。

Claims (5)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる円筒状の小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪とからなり、前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、
前記内方部材にトルク伝達可能に内嵌される軸部を一体に有する等速自在継手の外側継手部材とを備え、
この外側継手部材の軸部に締結された固定ナットによって、前記内方部材に突き合わせ状態で前記ハブ輪に対して前記外側継手部材が軸方向に分離可能に締結された駆動車輪用軸受装置において、
前記内方部材と外側継手部材の肩部との突き合わせ部にスラスト軸受が介装されていることを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記スラスト軸受が焼入れ硬化された円板状のプレートで構成されている請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材の肩部に環状凹所が形成され、この環状凹所に複数枚のプレートが積層されると共に、前記プレートの少なくとも一側面に複数の凹所が形成され、かつ前記プレートの側面に潤滑剤が塗布されている請求項2に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記環状凹所に鋼板製の保持環が収容され、この保持環が、前記環状凹所に外嵌される円筒部と、この円筒部の一端に径方向外方に延びる鍔を有し、この鍔を前記プレートに係合させることによって前記プレートが一体に保持されている請求項3に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記スラスト軸受が、外輪と、この外輪に転動体を介して軸方向に対向配置された内輪とからなるスラスト転がり軸受で構成され、前記転動体の周りを取り巻いて固体潤滑剤が固着されている請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
