Abstract
【構成】 トリオルガノシロキシ単位及びテトラシロキシ単位をもつオルガノシロキサン加水分解生成物の有機溶剤分散物をオルガノケイ素窒素化合物、たとえばシラザンで処理し、その後に噴霧乾燥する。実質的にシラノール基を含まないオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末は感圧接着剤のような熱硬化性オルガノポリシロキサン組成物の製造に有用であることが認められた。

Description
(R)3 SiO0.5 (1)
の“M”単位が式:
SiO2 (2)
の“Q”単位に化学的に結合されてなるオルガノシロキサン加水分解生成物の有機溶剤分散物を噴霧乾燥すると0.1−200nmの一次粒子寸法及び10nmないし200ミクロンの凝集粒子寸法をもつ自由流動性オルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末が形成される。これらのオルガノシロキサン加水分解生成物の有機溶剤分散物を噴霧乾燥することによってPSAのような有用な熱硬化性シリコーン組成物を製造し得るが、得られるPSA、すなわち熱硬化性混合物の製造に使用される成分混合物、の粘度は時には最適の加工必要条件を超えるものとなる。
(1)約0.5ないし約1.5のオルガノ対Si比をもつオルガノシロキサン加水分解生成物を界面反応条件下で形成し、
(2)工程(1)の混合物から該オルガノシロキサン加水分解生成物を有機溶剤分散物の形で分離し、
(3)前記有機溶剤分散物を前記オルガノシロキサン加水分解生成物からシラノール基を実質的に除去するに足る量のオルガノケイ素窒素物質で処理し、そして
(4)得られる工程(3)の有機溶剤分散物を噴霧乾燥する、
工程からなる、0.1−200nmの範囲の一次粒子寸法及び10nmないし200ミクロンの凝集粒子寸法をもつ自由流動性の、実質的にシラノール基を含まないオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末の製造法を提供するものである。
(R)2 R1 SiO0.5 (3)及び
(R)2 HSiO0.5 (4)
(式中、Rは前記の意義を有し、そしてR1 はC(2-4) アルケニル基、好ましくはビニル基である)から選んだ単位の混合物から選定されるM′単位と化学的に結合された式(2)で定義したごときQ単位からなるベンゼンに可溶性のオルガノシロキサンを含んでなる樹脂も包含し得る。M′単位はまたシロキシ単位の全モル数に基づいて平均して0ないし25モル%までの式:
R2 RSiO (5)
のジオルガノシロキシ単位及び0ないし25モル%までの式:
RSiO1.5 (6)
のモノオルガノシロキシ単位も包含し得る。
ケイ酸ナトリウム溶液91部を水130部と十分に混合した。この混合物を冷却された16.5%HCl水溶液81部に添加しそして混合物を7分間激しく撹拌した。その短時間後に、イソプロパノール87部を5分間で添加した。イソプロパノールの添加後、トリメチルクロルシラン31.0部及びトルエン3.4部を20分かゝって添加した。この反応混合物を室温まで加温せしめた後、還流条件に1.5時間再加熱した。ついで、トルエン40.5部を撹拌下に添加した。ついで、有機層を分離しそして水120部で洗浄した。この溶液から水/イソプロパノール/トルエン共沸混合物を溜出させてテトラシロキシ単位当たり約0.65のトリメチルシロキシ単位の比をもつトルエン中60重量%のメチルシロキサン加水分解生成物を取得した。それを窒素雰囲気下に還流条件に加熱し、そしてこのトルエン分散物から別量の水及びイソプロパノールを除去した。ついで、ヘキサメチルジシラザン50部を添加しそして反応混合物を、IR分析がメチルポリシロキサン樹脂上のSiOH基がシリル化されたことを示すまで、還流した。

上記シラザン処理された部分A混合物及び部分B混合物を等モル量で混合することによって感圧接着剤を製造した。シラザン処理されたPSAを1ミル厚のマイラー(Mylar)ポリエステルフィルム上に約1.5ミルの厚みに塗布し、そして120℃で10分間硬化した。上記と同一の方法をシラザン処理を施さない噴霧乾燥された粉末を用いたPSAの製造について反復した。両方のPSAについての粘着力及び剥離接着性は実質的に同等であることが認められた。粘着力は約1,000g/cm2 でありそして剥離接着性は約30オンス/インチであった。
Claims (8)
- 0.1−200nmの範囲の一次粒子寸法及び10nmないし200ミクロンの凝集粒子寸法をもち、残留ヒドロキシル基が0.2重量%未満のオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末であって、
(1)水と有機溶媒とを含む界面反応条件下での加水分解によって、トリオルガノシロキシ単位とSiO2単位とを0.5〜1.5のトリオルガノシロキシ/SiO2モル比で含むオルガノシロキサン生成物を形成し
(2)工程(1)の水と有機溶剤との混合物からオルガノシロキサン生成物を有機溶剤分散物の形で分離し、
(3)オルガノシロキサン生成物の残留ヒドロキシル基の量を0.2重量%未満とするに足る量のオルガノシリルアミン及びオルガノシラザンから選択されるオルガノケイ素窒素物質で前記有機溶剤分散物を処理し、そして
(4)得られる工程(3)の有機溶剤分散物を噴霧乾燥する、
工程によって得られるオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末。 - 請求項1記載のオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末、ビニル置換メチルポリシロキサン油、SiH含有シロキサン油、抑制剤及び有効量の白金触媒を含有してなる、熱硬化性組成物。
- 請求項1記載のオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末、ビニル置換メチルポリシロキサン油、SiH含有シロキサン油、抑制剤及び有効量の白金触媒を含有してなる、感圧接着剤組成物。
- 請求項1記載のオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末、ビニル置換メチルポリシロキサン油、SiH含有シロキサン油、抑制剤及び有効量の白金触媒を含有してなる、振動減衰組成物。
- 請求項1記載のオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末、ビニル置換メチルポリシロキサン油、SiH含有シロキサン油、抑制剤及び有効量の白金触媒を含有してなる、ポッティング組成物。
- 請求項1記載のオルガノシリコーン樹脂粉末、ビニル置換メチルポリシロキサン油、SiH含有シロキサン油、抑制剤及び有効量の白金触媒を含有してなる、液状射出成形用組成物。
- シリコーンハイドライド架橋剤を含有する請求項2記載の熱硬化性組成物。
- シリコーンビニル架橋剤を含有する請求項2記載の熱硬化性組成物。
