Abstract
【解決手段】i(iは奇数または偶数)フレーム期間において、奇数番目走査線に走査信号を順次供給し、i+1フレーム期間において、偶数番目走査線に走査信号を順次供給する走査駆動部110と、iフレーム期間に、奇数番目走査線に供給される走査信号に対応するデータ信号を供給し、i+1フレーム期間に、偶数番目走査線に供給される走査信号に対応するデータ信号を供給するデータ駆動部120と、走査線及びデータ線に接続される複数の画素140を含む画像表示部130と、を具備し、走査駆動部は、奇数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、奇数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させないために、奇数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給し、偶数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、偶数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させないために、偶数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給する。

Claims (24)
- i(iは奇数または偶数)フレーム期間において、奇数番目走査線に走査信号を順次供給し、i+1フレーム期間において、偶数番目走査線に走査信号を順次供給する走査駆動部と、
前記iフレーム期間において、前記奇数番目走査線に供給される走査信号に対応するデータ信号をデータ線に供給し、前記i+1フレーム期間において、前記偶数番目走査線に供給される走査信号に対応するデータ信号をデータ線に供給するデータ駆動部と、
前記走査線及びデータ線に接続される複数の画素を含む画像表示部と、を具備し、
前記走査駆動部は、
前記奇数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、当該奇数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させないために、奇数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給し、
前記偶数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、当該偶数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させないために、偶数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給することを特徴とする発光表示装置。 - 前記走査駆動部は、
前記奇数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、前記偶数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させるために、前記偶数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給せず、
前記偶数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、前記奇数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させるために、前記奇数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給しないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記走査駆動部は、
iフレーム期間において、前記奇数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間を除いた残りの期間中、前記奇数番目発光制御線及び偶数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給しないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記走査駆動部は、
i+1フレーム期間において、前記偶数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間を除いた残りの期間中、前記奇数番目発光制御線及び偶数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号を供給しないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記奇数番目発光制御線及び偶数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号が供給されない時、前記画像表示部に含まれたすべての画素は、データ信号に対応して発光することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記偶数番目発光制御線及び奇数番目発光制御線に発光制御信号が供給されない時、前記画像表示部に含まれたすべての画素は、データ信号に対応して発光することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の発光表示装置。
- 前記画素それぞれは、
発光素子と、
データ信号に対応して前記発光素子に供給される電流を制御する第2トランジスタと、
前記走査線及びデータ線に接続され、走査信号が供給される時、データ信号を前記第2トランジスタに伝達する第1トランジスタと、
前記第2トランジスタに接続され、データ信号に対応する電圧まで充電されるストリッジキャパシタと、
前記発光制御線に接続され、発光制御信号が供給されない時、前記第2トランジスタから供給される電流を前記発光素子に供給する第3トランジスタと、
前記発光素子のカソード電極に接続される第2電源と、を具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光表示装置。 - 奇数番目水平ラインに位置する画素に接続される第1電源線と、
偶数番目水平ラインに位置する画素に接続される第2電源線と、
前記第1電源線に接続される第1電源と、
前記第2電源線に接続される第3電源と、を具備することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記第1電源と前記第3電源とは、
同一の電圧値に設定されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記奇数番目水平ラインに位置する画素は、前記奇数番目走査線及び奇数番目発光制御線に接続され、
前記偶数番目水平ラインに位置する画素は、前記偶数番目走査線及び偶数番目発光制御線に接続されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の発光表示装置。 - 奇数番目水平ラインに位置する画素に接続される第1電源線と、
偶数番目水平ラインに位置する画素に接続される第2電源線と、
前記第1電源線及び第2電源線に接続される第1電源と、を具備することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記奇数番目水平ラインに位置する画素は、前記奇数番目走査線及び奇数番目発光制御線に接続され、
前記偶数番目水平ラインに位置する画素は、前記偶数番目走査線及び偶数番目発光制御線に接続されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の発光表示装置。 - 前記画素それぞれは、
前記第2トランジスタのゲート端子と第2端子との間に接続され、走査信号によって制御される第4トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2端子に自身の第1端子及びゲート端子が接続され、第2端子が前記第2トランジスタのゲート端子に接続される第5トランジスタと、
前記第1トランジスタの第2端子と前記ストリッジキャパシタとの間に接続され、前記発光制御線によって制御される第6トランジスタと、をさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の発光表示装置。 - i(iは奇数または偶数)フレーム期間において、奇数番目走査線に走査信号を供給する段階と、
前記奇数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、当該奇数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させない段階と、
i+1フレーム期間において、偶数番目走査線に走査信号を供給する段階と、
前記偶数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、当該偶数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させない段階と、を含むことを特徴とする発光表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記奇数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、前記偶数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させる段階と、
前記偶数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間中、前記奇数番目走査線に接続された画素を発光させる段階と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記iフレーム期間において、前記奇数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間を除いた残りの期間中、すべての画素を発光させる段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記i+1フレーム期間において、前記偶数番目走査線に走査信号が供給される期間を除いた残りの期間中、すべての画素を発光させる段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記iフレーム期間中、前記奇数番目走査線に供給される走査信号に対応するデータ信号をデータ線に供給する段階と、
前記i+1フレーム期間中、前記偶数番目走査線に供給される走査信号に対応するデータ信号をデータ線に供給する段階と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。 - 第1フレームで走査信号が供給される期間において、すべての画素のうち一部の画素を発光させる段階と、
第2フレームで走査信号が供給される期間において、前記一部の画素を除いた残りの画素を発光させる段階と、を含むことを特徴とする発光表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記第1フレームで、走査信号は、奇数番目走査線に供給されることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記一部の画素は、
偶数番目走査線に接続された画素であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記第2フレームで、走査信号は、偶数番目走査線に供給されることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記残りの画素は、
奇数番目走査線に接続された画素であることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記第1フレーム及び第2フレームで走査信号が供給される期間を除いた残りの期間中、すべての画素がデータ信号に対応して発光することを特徴とする請求項19に記載の発光表示装置の駆動方法。
