Description
摩擦帯電安定性(tribo stability)、すなわち現像剤の老化に伴う現像剤の摩擦帯電性の低下を向上させるため不規則形状フェライトコアを含むキャリアに載せたトナー粒子を用いて実験を行った。
もうひとつの実験では、不規則形状フェライトキャリアを用いた現像剤の様々な性質を求めた。ハウジングに黒色現像剤3.45kgを入れ、比率2:1で通常の黒色トナーを補充した。導線に850VACを印加して材料を試験した。スループットのため、前述の補充物を用いて現像剤ハウジング速度を100ppmとし、表面被覆20%、50%、および2%において15時間に亘ってこれを行った。現像剤のトナー濃度はほぼ4.5%に調整した。これは華氏70度(約21.1℃)、相対湿度(RH)50%で行った。対照として同じ黒色トナーを用いて鉄キャリアから現像剤を製造したものを同一条件で試験した。
