Abstract
【解決手段】底面と上部反射面を有するレンズの内部に内部空間を形成することで、内部空間を通過して進行する光は、空間とレンズ間の一部境界面(選択的透過面、内部反射面、内側反射面)で内部全反射により部分的に反射する。このような構造により、LED光源の光をレンズの側面に効率よく誘導することができる。

Claims (17)
- 底面と、中心軸に対して対称に傾いた上部反射面と、前記上部反射面の外周端と前記底面の外周端を連結する側面とを有する本体を含み、
記本体内に、前記中心軸に対して対称な内部空間が形成され、前記内部空間の境界面の少なくとも一部には前記中心軸に対して対称に傾いた内部反射面が形成され、
前記底面を通して入射するLED光源の光は、前記上部反射面と前記内部反射面のいずれか一つで反射した後、前記中心軸に対して直角方向に前記側面を通して出射することを特徴とするLED光源用レンズ。 - 前記LED光源の光が入射する部分を除いた底面には、中心軸に対して対称な曲面を有する下部反射面が形成され、
前記内部反射面で反射された光の一部は、前記下部反射面で反射してから前記側面を通して出射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED光源用レンズ。 - 前記内部空間は、前記中心軸が通過する領域を含むように形成され、
前記内部空間の下部境界面の中心には、前記底面から入射する光の一部を反射させる選択的透過面が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED光源用レンズ。 - 前記選択的透過面は、前記中心軸に対して直角の平面に形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- 前記透過的透過面は、前記上部反射面に向かって膨らみ上がったドーム形状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- 前記内部空間は、前記中心軸が通過する領域を除いて環状に形成され、
前記環状の内部空間の内側境界面は、中心軸に対して対称に傾いて形成され、
前記底面から入射する光の一部は、前記内側反射面及び前記上部反射面のそれぞれにより反射して前記側面を通して出射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLED光源用レンズ。 - 前記LED光源の光が入射する部分の除いた底面には、中心軸に対して対称な曲面を有する下部反射面が形成され、
前記内部反射面で反射した光の一部は、前記下部反射面で反射してから前記側面を通して出射することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のLED光源用レンズ。 - LED光源が結合される底面を含む下部レンズと、
前記下部レンズ上に積層結合され、中心軸に対して対称に傾いた上部反射面を有する上部レンズとを含み、
前記上部レンズと下部レンズは、その間に中心軸に対して対称に形成された内部空間を形成するように結合され、前記内部空間をなす前記下部レンズの上面の少なくとも一部には中心軸に対して対称に傾いた内部反射面が形成され、
前記底面から入射するLED光源の光の一部は前記上部反射面で反射して、前記中心軸に対して直角方向に前記上部レンズを通して出射し、前記LED光源の光の一部は前記内部反射面で反射して、前記中心軸に対して直角方向に前記下部レンズを通して出射することを特徴とするLED光源用レンズ。 - 前記レンズ内で生ずる光の反射は、内部全反射であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- 前記上部レンズの下面の外周端及び前記下部レンズの上面の外周端上に少なくとも一対の突起部及び段差部がそれぞれ形成され、前記突起部と前記段差部の嵌め合いにより前記上部レンズと前記下部レンズが一体的に結合されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- 前記突起部と前記段差部は、その間に接着部材を介在して接着され、
前記接着部材の屈折率は、前記上部レンズと前記下部レンズの屈折率と同一であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のLED光源用レンズ。 - 前記下部レンズの上面のうち、中心軸が通過する中心領域には選択的透過面が形成され、前記選択的透過面により、前記底面から入射するLED光源の光が一部反射されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- 前記下部レンズの底面は、前記中心軸に対して対称な曲面を有する下部反射面をさらに含み、前記選択的透過面で反射した光は前記下部反射面で反射することを特徴とする請求項12に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- 前記選択的透過面は、前記中心軸に対して直角の平面に形成されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- 前記選択的透過面は、前記上部レンズに向かって膨らみ上がったドーム状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
- LED光源が結合される底面を含む下部レンズと、
前記下部レンズ上に積層結合され、中心軸に対して対称に傾いた上部反射面を有する上部レンズとを含み、
前記上部レンズと前記下部レンズは、その間に中心軸に対して対称に環状の内部空間が形成されるように結合され、前記環状の内部空間の内側境界面には内側反射面が形成され、
前記底面から入射するLED光源の光の一部は、前記内側反射面で反射して、前記中心軸に対して直角方向に出射することを特徴とするLED光源用レンズ。 - 前記内側反射面で反射した光は、前記上部反射面で反射して、前記中心軸に対して直角方向に出射することを特徴とする請求項16に記載のLED光源用レンズ。
