Abstract
【解決手段】 負極22は構成元素としてSnを含む負極活物質を含有している。セパレータ23には有機スズ化合物を含む電解液が含浸されている。有機スズ化合物は負極22の表面に被膜を形成し、リチウムイオンを捕捉して負極活物質に受け渡す。よって、負極22の表面に形成されている酸化物被膜とリチウムイオンとの接触を抑制することができると共に、負極22と電解液との直接的な接触も抑制することができる。

Description
図1は本発明の第1の実施の形態に係る二次電池の断面構造を表すものである。この二次電池は、いわゆる円筒型といわれるものであり、ほぼ中空円柱状の電池缶11の内部に、帯状の正極21と負極22とがセパレータ23を介して巻回された巻回電極体20を有している。電池缶11は、例えばアルミニウム(Al)またはニッケル(Ni)のめっきがされた鉄(Fe)により構成されており、一端部が閉鎖され他端部が開放されている。電池缶11の内部には、巻回電極体20を挟むように巻回周面に対して垂直に一対の絶縁板12,13がそれぞれ配置されている。
図3は、本発明の第2の実施の形態に係る二次電池の構成を表すものである。この二次電池は、いわゆるラミネートフィルム型といわれるものであり、正極リード31および負極リード32が取り付けられた巻回電極体30をフィルム状の外装部材40の内部に収容したものである。
図3および図4に示したラミネートフィルム型の二次電池を作製した。
電解液における有機スズ化合物の含有量を0.03質量%〜30質量%の範囲内で変えたことを除き、他は実施例1−2,実施例1−3および実施例1−5と同様にして二次電池を作製した。すなわち、実施例2−1〜2−9ではトリ−n−ブチルビニルスズを用い、実施例3−1〜3−6ではトリ−n−ブチルエチニルスズを用い、実施例4−1〜4−6ではテトラ−n−ブチルジスタノキサンジラウレートを用いた。
負極35の構成を変えたことを除き、他は実施例1−1〜1−5と同様にして二次電池を作製した。負極35は、銅箔よりなる負極集電体35Aの表面に真空蒸着法によりスズよりなる負極活物質層35Bを10μmの厚みで形成し、真空雰囲気中において熱処理することにより作製した。有機スズ化合物としては、実施例1−1〜1−5と同様に、実施例5−1ではテトラ−n−ブチルスズ(TBT)を用い、実施例5−2ではトリ−n−ブチルビニルスズ(TBVT)を用い、実施例5−3ではトリ−n−ブチルエチニルスズ(TBET)を用い、実施例5−4ではトリ−n−ブチルフェニルスズ(TBPT)を用い、実施例5−5ではテトラ−n−ブチルジスタノキサンジラウレート(TBDSDL)を用いた。電解液における有機スズ化合物の含有量は、いずれも0.5質量%である。
図1に示したような円筒型の二次電池を作製した。
Claims (10)
- 有機スズ化合物を含むことを特徴とする電解液。
- 前記有機スズ化合物は、テトラブチルスズ、トリブチルビニルスズ、トリブチルエチニルスズ、トリブチルフェニルスズおよびテトラブチルジスタノキサンジラウレートからなる群のうちの少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電解液。
- 前記有機スズ化合物の含有量は、0.05質量%以上20質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電解液。
- 正極および負極と共に電解液を備えた電池であって、
前記負極は、構成元素としてスズ(Sn)を含む負極活物質を含有し、
前記電解液は、有機スズ化合物を含む
ことを特徴とする電池。 - 前記有機スズ化合物は、テトラブチルスズ、トリブチルビニルスズ、トリブチルエチニルスズ、トリブチルフェニルスズおよびテトラブチルジスタノキサンジラウレートからなる群のうちの少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項5記載の電池。
- 前記電解液における有機スズ化合物の含有量は、0.05質量%以上20質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の電池。
- 前記電解液は、高分子化合物により保持されていることを特徴とする請求項5記載の電池。
- 前記正極、負極および電解液は、フィルム状の外装部材の内部に収納されていることを特徴とする請求項5記載の電池。
