Abstract
Description
(a)前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記水性材料との第1分散液を形成するために前記疎水性植物ステロールを前記水性材料と混合する過程と、
(b)加熱された混合物を形成するため前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記水性材料との前記第1分散液を加熱する過程と、
(c)前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記水性材料との第2分散液を得るために前記加熱された混合物を均一化する過程と、を備えており、前記第1分散液内の前記疎水性植物ステロール粒子の粒子サイズは約0.1マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルであるか、又は前記第2分散液の前記疎水性植物ステロール粒子の該粒子サイズは約0.1マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルであり、或いは前記第1分散液及び前記第2分散液の両者での前記疎水性植物ステロール粒子の粒子サイズは約0.1マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルである。
Claims (53)
- 本質的に疎水性植物ステロール及び水性材料から成り実質的に安定な分散液を作る方法であるが、前記植物ステロールは植物ステロール及び植物スタノールから選択される、該方法に於いて、該方法が、
前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記水性材料との第1分散液を形成するために前記疎水性植物ステロールを前記水性材料と混合する過程と、
加熱された混合物を形成するために前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記水性材料との前記第1分散液を加熱する過程と、
前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記水性材料との第2分散液を得るために前記加熱された混合物を均一化する過程とを具備しており、前記第1分散液内の前記疎水性植物ステロール粒子の粒子サイズが約0.1マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルであるか、又は前記第2分散液内の前記疎水性植物ステロール粒子の粒子サイズが約0.1マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルであること、或いは前記第1分散液及び前記第2分散液の両者内の前記疎水性植物ステロール粒子の粒子サイズが約0.1マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルであること、を特徴とする該方法。 - 前記疎水性植物ステロール及び水性材料を約17℃(約64°F)から約64℃(約148°F)の温度で約0.1分から約120分の時間の間加熱する過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記第1分散液内の前記疎水性植物ステロールの前記粒子サイズが約0.1マイクロメートルから約10マイクロメートルであるか又は前記第2分散液内の前記疎水性植物ステロールの該粒子サイズが約0.1マイクロメートルから約10マイクロメートルであること、或いは前記第1分散液及び前記第2分散液の両者内の前記疎水性植物ステロールの該粒子サイズが約0.1マイクロメートルから約10マイクロメートルであることを特徴とする請求項2の該方法。
- 前記疎水性植物ステロールが、
シトステロール、カンペステロール、スチグマステロール、スピノステロール、タラクサステロール、ブラシカステロール、デスモステロール、チャリノステロール、ポリフエラステロール、クリオナステロール、そしてエルゴステロール、そしてそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。 - 前記疎水性植物ステロールが植物ステロールの水素添加製品から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記疎水性植物ステロールが、シトステロール、カンペステロール、スチグマステロール、スピノステロール、タラクサステロール、ブラシカステロール、デスモステロール、チャリノステロール、ポリフエラステロール、クリオナステロール、そしてエルゴステロール、そしてそれらの混合物の水素添加製品から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記疎水性植物ステロールがシトスタノール、カンペスタノール、スチグマスタノール、スピノスタノール、タラクサスタノール、ブラシカスタノール、デスモスタノール、チャリノスタノール、ポリフエラスタノール、クリオナスタノール、そしてエルゴスタノール、そしてそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記水性材料が中に溶解されたか又は分散されたか何れかの固体材料を有し、前記水性材料の該固体含有量が前記水性材料のリットル当たり約600gから前記水性材料のリットル当たり約800gであることを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記第1分散液内で、前記疎水性植物ステロールが前記水性材料のリットル当たりで約15gから約30gの量で存在することを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記第1分散液内で、前記疎水性植物ステロールが前記水性材料のリットル当たりで約15gから約30gの量で存在し、そして加熱された第1分散液を形成するために43℃(約110°F)から約100℃(約212°F)の温度に約1秒から約20秒の時間の間加熱されることを特徴とする請求項8の該方法。
- 前記加熱された第1分散液が前記均一化する過程の前に約22℃(約72°F)から約71℃(約160°F)の温度に約1秒から約12秒の時間の間冷却されることを特徴とする請求項10の該方法。
- 前記均一化する過程が約13.79MPa(約2000psi)から約34.47MPa(約5000psi)の圧力で行われることを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記均一化する過程が約13.79MPa(2000psi)から約34.47MPa(約5000psi)の圧力で行われることを特徴とする請求項11の該方法。
- 前記均一化する過程が多数ステップで種々の圧力で、又はオプションで種々の温度で、行われることを特徴とする請求項1の該方法。
- 前記均一化する過程が多数ステップで種々の圧力で、そしてオプションで種々の温度で、行われることを特徴とする請求項13の該方法。
- 前記均一化する過程が、約2.07MPa(約300psi)から約5.52MPa(約800psi)の圧力で行われ、次に約13.79MPa(2000psi)から約34.47MPa(約5000psi)の圧力と、約22℃(約72°F)から約71℃(約160°F)の温度と、での均一化が続くことを特徴とする請求項15の該方法。
- 前記水性材料が本質的に果物ジュース濃縮液から成ることを特徴とする請求項10の該方法。
- 前記水性材料が本質的に柑橘類ジュース濃縮液から成ることを特徴とする請求項10の該方法。
- 前記水性材料が本質的に柑橘類ジュース濃縮液から成ることを特徴とする請求項16の該方法。
- 水性飲料混合物を得るために前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記果物ジュース濃縮液との前記第2分散液に水を追加する過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項17の該方法。
- 水性飲料混合物を得るために前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記柑橘類ジュース濃縮液との前記第2分散液に水を追加する過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項18の該方法。
- 水性飲料混合物を得るために前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記柑橘類ジュース濃縮液との前記第2分散液に水を追加する過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項19の該方法。
- 約11°ブリックスから約13°ブリックスの水性飲料混合物を得るために前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記果物ジュース濃縮液との前記第2分散液に水を追加する過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項20の該方法。
- 約11°ブリックスから約13°ブリックスの水性飲料混合物を得るために前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記柑橘類ジュース濃縮液との前記第2分散液に水を追加する過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項21の該方法。
- 約11°ブリックスから約13°ブリックスの水性飲料混合物を得るために前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子と前記柑橘類ジュース濃縮液との前記第2分散液に水を追加する過程を具備することを特徴とする請求項22の該方法。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約0.1Pa・s(約100cps)から約30Pa・s(約30,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項1−19の何れか1つの該方法。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約6Pa・s(約6、000cps)から約18Pa・s(約18,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項1−19の何れか1つの該方法。
- 前記柑橘類ジュースがオレンジジュースであることを特徴とする請求項18,19,21,22,24,そして25の何れか1つの該方法。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約0.1Pa・s(約100cps)から約30Pa・s(約30,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項1−22の1つの該方法。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約6Pa・s(約6,000cps)から約18Pa・s(約18,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項1−22の1つの該方法。
- 請求項1−25の1つの該方法により作られる製品。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約0.1Pa・s(約100cps)から約30Pa・s(約30,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項1−19の1つの該方法により作られる製品。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約6Pa・s(約6,000cps)から約18Pa・s(約18,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項32の該製品。
- 請求項28の該方法により作られる製品。
- 該柑橘類ジュースがオレンジジュースであり、該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約0.1Pa・s(約100cps)から約30Pa・s(約30,000)であることを特徴とする請求項18−19の1つの該方法により作られる製品。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約6Pa・s(約6,000cps)から約18Pa・s(約18,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項35の該製品。
- 疎水性植物ステロールと水性材料との実質的に安定な分散液に於いて、該植物ステロールは植物ステロール及び植物スタノールから選択されており、そこでは該実質的に安定な分散液内の粉末性テーストを実質的に避けるために、該疎水性植物ステロール粒子の粒子サイズは約0.1マイクロメートルから約30マイクロメートルであり、この範囲内の疎水性植物ステロール粒子の大多数は約0.2マイクロメートルから約10マイクロメートルであり、ベル形曲線分布に実質的に従うことを特徴とする該実質的に安定な分散液。
- 請求項37の該実質的に安定な分散液を含む配合物。
- 約0.1マイクロメートルから約10マイクロメートルの前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子の大多数は約0.2マイクロメートルから約2.5マイクロメートルの範囲内に入る粒子を含んでおり、ベル形曲線分布に実質的に従うことを特徴とする請求項38の該配合物。
- 約0.1マイクロメートルから約10マイクロメートルの前記疎水性植物ステロールの粒子の大多数は約0.3マイクロメートルから約0.4マイクロメートルの範囲内に入る粒子を含んでおり、ベル形曲線分布に実質的に従うことを特徴とする請求項38の該配合物。
- 前記疎水性植物ステロールが、
シトステロール、カンペステロール、スチグマステロール、スピノステロール、タラクサステロール、ブラシカステロール、デスモステロール、チャリノステロール、ポリフエラステロール、クリオナステロール、そしてエルゴステロール、そしてそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする請求項38の該配合物。 - 前記疎水性植物ステロールが植物ステロールの水素添加製品から選択されることを特徴とする請求項38の該配合物。
- 前記疎水性植物ステロールが、シトステロール、カンペステロール、スチグマステロール、スピノステロール、タラクサステロール、ブラシカステロール、デスモステロール、チャリノステロール、ポリフエラステロール、クリオナステロール、そしてエルゴステロール、そしてそれらの混合物の水素添加製品から選択されることを特徴とする請求項38の該配合物。
- 前記疎水性植物ステロールが、シトスタノール、カンペスタノール、スチグマスタノール、スピノスタノール、タラクサスタノール、ブラシカスタノール、デスモスタノール、チャリノスタノール、ポリフエラスタノール、クリオナスタノール、そしてエルゴスタノール、そしてそれらの混合物から選択されることを特徴とする請求項38の該配合物。

- 前記水性材料が本質的に果物ジュース濃縮液から成ることを特徴とする請求項45の該配合物。
- 前記水性材料が本質的に柑橘類ジュース濃縮液から成ることを特徴とする請求項45の該配合物。
- 前記水性材料が本質的にオレンジジュース濃縮液から成ることを特徴とする請求項45の該配合物。
- 更に食品グレードの乳剤、ゴム、スターチ、ペクチン、そしてペクチン誘導体から選択された製造用エイドを有することを特徴とする請求項38−48の1つの該配合物。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約0.1Pa・s(約100cp)から約30Pa・s(約30,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項49の該配合物。
- 該実質的に安定な分散液の粘度が約6Pa・s(約6,000cps)から約18Pa・s(約18,000cps)であることを特徴とする請求項49の該配合物。
- 前記濃縮液が約11°ブリックスから約13°ブリックスに稀釈される様な量で前記果物ジュース濃縮液に付加される水を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項45の該配合物。
