Description
Claims (29)
- 精製二酸化炭素を適用例に送達する方法であって、
a)適用例における前記精製二酸化炭素の使用が、許容される製品をもたらすように、精製二酸化炭素中の不揮発性有機残留物の許容レベルを求めるステップ、
b)前記精製二酸化炭素を生成するように制御された温度で、二酸化炭素を少なくとも1種の触媒に曝露するステップ、及び
c)前記精製二酸化炭素を前記適用例に送るステップを含む方法。 - 前記二酸化炭素を前記触媒に曝露する前に、酸化剤を前記二酸化炭素と混合するステップをさらに含む方法であって、前記酸化剤が、酸素、空気、及び酸素富化空気から選択された群の少なくとも1つである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記適用例が、半導体処理である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素を前記触媒に曝露する前に、前記二酸化炭素を加熱するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素が、前記触媒に曝露されるとき蒸気状態である請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素を前記適用例に送る前に、前記精製二酸化炭素を冷却するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素を前記適用例に送るとき、前記精製二酸化炭素が液体状態である請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素を前記適用例に送る前に、前記精製二酸化炭素を貯蔵容器の上に位置するコンデンサに送る請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素を前記適用例に送る前に、前記精製二酸化炭素を加圧するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素を前記触媒に曝露する前に、前記二酸化炭素を加圧するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素を前記適用例に送る前に、前記精製二酸化炭素を少なくとも1つの精製ユニットに送るステップをさらに含む方法であって、前記精製ユニットが、フィルタ、コアレッシングフィルタ、吸着床、吸収床、蒸留ユニット、反応器、及びスクラビングユニットからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素の前記温度が、前記分離ユニットの分離性能が最適化されるように選択される請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素を少なくとも1種の触媒に曝露する前に、前記二酸化炭素を少なくとも1つのコアレッシングフィルタに送るステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素の少なくとも一部を、光散乱分析器及び単一粒子計数器からなる群から選択された少なくとも1つの分析器ユニットに送るステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素が、標準温度及び圧力で測定したとき、それぞれが0.1ミクロン超の直径を有する不揮発性有機残留物の粒子を1立方フィート当たり100000未満含有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素を前記触媒に曝露する前に、前記二酸化炭素に水を添加する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記適用例に用いた前記精製二酸化炭素の少なくとも一部を再利用するステップ、及び前記再利用部分を前記触媒に曝露するステップをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 二酸化炭素を精製する方法であって、
a)二酸化炭素を少なくとも1種の触媒に曝露するステップであって、前記二酸化炭素が、近臨界、臨界、及び超臨界からなる群から選択された状態であるステップ、及び
b)汚染物の少なくとも一部を酸化し、それによって精製二酸化炭素を形成するステップを含む方法。 - 前記精製二酸化炭素を適用例に送るステップをさらに含む請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記適用例が、半導体処理である請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素を前記触媒に曝露する前に、酸化剤を前記二酸化炭素と混合するステップをさらに含む方法であって、前記酸化剤が、酸素、空気、及び酸素富化空気から選択された群の少なくとも1つである請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素を前記触媒に曝露する前に、超臨界二酸化炭素が生成されるように前記二酸化炭素の状態を変更する請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素を前記触媒に曝露した後に、前記精製二酸化炭素を冷却するステップをさらに含む請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素を、フィルタ、コアレッシングフィルタ、吸着床、蒸留塔、吸収/蒸留ユニット、反応器、スクラビングユニット、及び吸収床からなる群から選択された少なくとも1つの精製ユニットに送るステップをさらに含む請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素の前記温度が、前記分離ユニットの分離性能が最適化されるように選択される請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素の少なくとも一部を、光散乱分析器及び単一粒子計数器からなる群から選択された少なくとも1つの分析器ユニットに送るステップをさらに含む請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素が、標準温度及び圧力で測定したとき、それぞれが0.1ミクロン超の直径を有する不揮発性有機残留物の粒子を1平方フィート当たり100000個未満含有する請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記精製二酸化炭素の少なくとも一部を再利用するステップ、及びそれを前記触媒に曝露するステップをさらに含む請求項18に記載の方法。
- 精製二酸化炭素を適用例に送達する方法であって、
a)最低酸化温度を求めるステップであって、前記精製二酸化炭素を前記適用例に用いるとき、許容される品質を有する製品を生成する精製二酸化炭素が、前記最低酸化温度での二酸化炭素の触媒への曝露によってもたらされるステップ、
b)実質的に前記最低酸化温度を超えない温度で、二酸化炭素を少なくとも1種の触媒に曝露し、それによって精製二酸化炭素を生成するステップ、及び
c)前記精製二酸化炭素の少なくとも一部を前記適用例に送るステップを含む方法。
