Abstract
Description
本出願は2001年11月9日出願の米国特許仮出願第60/337,753号の米国特許法第119条による特典を請求する通常出願(non−provisional application)である。
Claims (26)
- 粘性のある薬物の注入用デバイスであり、該薬物を注入するために好適なニードルを有する該デバイスに於いて、該ニードルのゲージは約21ゲージ以上であり、そして該デバイスは該ニードルを通して該粘性のある薬物を、該薬物の注入を引き起こすのに充分な力で、駆動するよう構成されていることを特徴とする該デバイス。
- 更に、加圧ガス源と、アクチュエーターと、ドライバーと、そしてデイスペンサーとを具備しており、該加圧ガス源と、該ドライバーと、そして該デイスペンサーとは、該アクチュエーターをトリガー時該ニードルを通して該粘性のある薬物を注入するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該粘性のある薬物が約0.5Pa・s(約5ポイズ)より大きい粘度を有することを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該粘性のある薬物が約1Pa・s(約10ポイズ)より大きい粘度を有することを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該粘性のある薬物が約5Pa・s(約50ポイズ)より大きい粘度を有することを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該粘性のある薬物が約10Pa・s(約100ポイズ)より大きい粘度を有することを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該ドライバーが該デイスペンサーに対し少なくとも第1力と第2力を発揮するよう構成された多段式ピストンを備えることを特徴とする請求項2の該デバイス。
- 該ドライバーが該デイスペンサーに対し第1力と第2力を発揮するよう構成された多段式ピストンを備え、該第2力が該第1力より大きいことを特徴とする請求項2の該デバイス。
- 該多段式ピストンが、該第1力が約3.178kg(約7ポンド)以下であるようそして該第2力が該粘性のある薬物を該ニードルを通して注入するのに充分であるよう、構成されることを特徴とする請求項8の該デバイス。
- 該ニードルのゲージが約27ゲージから約31ゲージまでに及ぶことを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該デバイスが約0.5ccまでの該粘性のある薬物を該ニードルを通して約10秒内に注入するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該デバイスが約0.5ccまでの該粘性のある薬物を該ニードルを通して約5秒内に注入するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項1の該デバイス。
- 該デイスペンサーがリザーバーと該ニードルとを備えており、そして該加圧ガス源と、多段式ピストンと、そしてデイスペンサーとが約0.5ccまでの該粘性のある薬物を該ニードルを通して約10秒内に注入するよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項2の該デバイス。
- 該加圧ガス源と、多段式ピストンと、そしてデイスペンサーとが約0.5ccまでの該粘性のある薬物を該ニードルを通して約5秒内に追い出すよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項13の該デバイス。
- 粘性のある薬物を注入する方法に於いて、該方法が
粘性のある薬物を提供する過程と、
該粘性のある薬物を注入するためにニードルを提供する過程とを具備しており、該ニードルは約21ゲージ以上であるニードルゲージを有しており、そして該方法は又
該ニードルを通して該粘性のある薬物を注入する過程を具備することを特徴とする該方法。 - 該粘性のある薬物を提供する過程が、約0.5Pa・s(約5ポイズ)以上の粘度を示す薬物を提供する過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項15の該方法。
- 該粘性のある薬物を提供する過程が約1Pa・s(約10ポイズ)以上の粘度を示す薬物を提供する過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項15の該方法。
- 該粘性のある薬物を提供する過程が約5Pa・s(約50ポイズ)以上の粘度を示す薬物を提供する過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項15の該方法。
- 該粘性のある薬物を提供する過程が約10Pa・s(約100ポイズ)以上の粘度を示す薬物を提供する過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項15の該方法。
- 該ニードルを提供する過程が約27ゲージ以上のニードルゲージを有するニードルを提供する過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項15の該方法。
- 該ニードルを提供する過程が約31ゲージに等しいニードルゲージを有するニードルを提供する過程を備えることを特徴とする請求項15の該方法。
- 薬物の注入用デバイスに於いて、該デバイスが、
トリガー部と、
該薬物を有するリザーバーと、該薬物の注入用ニードルと、を備えるデイスペンサーと、そして
多段式ピストンを備えるドライバーとを具備しており、該薬物の注入用デバイスは、該トリガー部の作動時、該多段式ピストンが該デイスペンサーに対し少なくとも第1力と第2力を発揮するよう構成されることを特徴とする該デバイス。 - 更に、加圧ガス源を具備しており、該デバイスは、該トリガー部の作動が該加圧ガス源からの加圧ガスを該多段式ピストンに対し作用させるよう、構成されていることを特徴とする請求項22の該デバイス。
- 該デバイスの該多段式ピストンが第2力より小さい第1力を発揮するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項22の該デバイス。
- 該デバイスの該多段式ピストンは該第1力が該第2力の発揮の前に発揮されるよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項24の該デバイス。
- 該多段式ピストンの各段は異なる表面積により特徴付けられることを特徴とする請求項22の該デバイス。
