とを含んで成ることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記酸化ガスが、空気、酸素、二酸化炭素、酸化窒素およびオゾンから成る部類から選択された物質を含む請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記カソードが2層カソードである請求項14記載の方法。
- 金属空気電池用のカソードであって、
酸と接触していない炭素粒子と
第1有機ポリマーとを含む第1層と
酸素と接触した炭素粒子と
第2有機ポリマーとを含む第2層とを備え、
これらの第1層と第2層とが相互に接触していることを特徴とするカソード。 - 酸と接触した前記炭素粒子が約7より低いpHを有する請求項17記載のカソード。
- 酸と接触した前記炭素粒子が約2から約4のpHを有する請求項17記載のカソード。
- 前記第2層が触媒をさらに含む請求項17記載のカソード。
- 前記触媒が二酸化マンガンを含む請求項20記載のカソード。
- 前記第1層が、
約50重量%から約80重量%の酸と接触していない前記炭素粒子と、
約20重量%から約50重量%の第1有機ポリマーとを含み、
前記第2層が、
約45重量%から約98重量%の酸と接触した前記炭素粒子と、
約1重量%から約30重量%の第2有機ポリマーとを含む、
請求項17記載のカソード。 - 前記第1層が、
約60重量%から約70重量%の酸と接触していない前記炭素粒子と、
約30重量%から約40重量%の第1有機ポリマーとを含み、
前記第2層が、
約60重量%から約84重量%の酸と接触した前記炭素粒子と、
約1重量%から約10重量%の第2有機ポリマーとを含む、
請求項17記載のカソード。 - 前記第2層が、約1重量%から約25重量%の触媒をさらに含む請求項21記載のカソード。
- 前記第1有機ポリマーと第2有機ポリマーとがポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む請求項21記載のカソード。
