Abstract
【解決手段】 配線基板19と、この配線基板上に実装された多数個の発光ダイオード12と、配線基板の長手方向の両側でかつ幅方向の一方側縁部の近傍に位置して実装された第1コネクタ20a及び第2コネクタ20bとを有する発光ブロック体18を備える。複数の発光ブロック体18が長手方向の端部を突き合わせて配列されて発光アレイ11を構成し、この発光アレイが液晶パネル5と対向してバックパネル19に互いに平行に対峙して複数列を配列して設けてなる。

Claims (3)
- 配線基板と、この配線基板上に実装された多数個の発光ダイオードと、上記配線基板の長手方向の一端部側でかつ幅方向の一方側縁部の近傍に位置して実装された第1コネクタと、上記配線基板の長手方向の他端部側でかつ幅方向の一方側縁部の近傍に位置して実装された第2コネクタとを有し、透過型表示パネルと対向してバックパネルに配列して取り付けられる発光ブロック体を備え、
複数個の上記発光ブロック体を長手方向の端部を突き合わせて配列することによって構成される発光アレイが、上記バックパネルに互いに平行に対峙して複数列を配列して設けてなり、
上記各発光ブロック体が同一発光アレイ内において上記第1コネクタと上記第2コネクタとが隣り合うように配列されることによってこれら第1コネクタと第2コネクタとの間で接続配線が行われるとともに、隣り合う2列の第1発光アレイと第2発光アレイとが対をなして上記第1コネクタと上記第2コネクタとを実装した側縁部が対向位置するように互いの向きを変えて配列されてそれぞれの両側に配置された発光ブロック体の第1コネクタと第2コネクタとからリード線が引き出されることを特徴とするバックライト装置。 - 上記バックパネルの上記第1発光アレイと上記第2発光アレイとの間の領域に、これら第1発光アレイと上記第2発光アレイからそれぞれ引き出されたリード線のガイド手段が設けられるとともに背面側へと引き回すガイド開口が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト装置。
- 上記各発光アレイを構成する上記各発光ブロック体が、それぞれの上記配線基板を長尺の放熱プレートに固定されるとともに、この放熱プレートが上記バックパネルに固定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト装置。
