Abstract
用紙幅方向印刷開始位置がずれた状態で排出されることを防止し、信頼性の高い電子写真式印刷装置を提供する。
【解決手段】
用紙搬送経路に設けられた用紙に対し幅方向の端部位置検出用光学式センサ及び用紙幅方向の印刷開始位置制御手段を備えた電子写真印刷装置において、印写部の感光体への潜像形成前の用紙幅方向端部位置データと潜像形成後に取得する用紙幅方向端部位置データとを比較し、該比較値により印刷動作の継続・停止処理を行う。

Claims (4)
- 用紙搬送経路に設けられた用紙に対し幅方向の端部位置検出用光学式センサ及び用紙幅方向の印刷開始位置制御手段を備えた電子写真印刷装置において、印写部の感光体への潜像形成前の用紙幅方向端部位置データと潜像形成後に取得する用紙幅方向端部位置データとを比較し、該比較値により印刷動作の継続・停止処理を行うことを特徴とする電子写真印刷装置。
- 用紙幅方向端部位置検出手段による潜像形成前の用紙幅方向端部位置データ取得から潜像形成後の用紙幅方向の端部位置データ取得までの時間を用紙長に応じて可変することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電子写真印刷装置。
- 転写部前段に、用紙先端の位置合わせ及び規定のタイミングで転写部に用紙を送り出す一対のレジストローラと、該レジストローラ前段に配置され用紙をニップあるいはニップ解除できる機構を具備する一対の搬送ローラと、用紙搬送経路に設けられた用紙の幅方向の端部位置検出用光学式センサ及び用紙幅方向の印刷開始位置制御手段とを備えた電子写真印刷装置において、前記搬送ローラのニップ解除動作前の用紙幅方向端部位置データと前記搬送ローラのニップ解除動作後に取得する用紙幅方向端部位置データとを比較し、該比較値により印刷動作の継続・停止処理を行うことを特徴とする電子写真印刷装置。
- 前記搬送ローラのニップ解除動作前の用紙幅方向端部位置データと前記搬送ローラのニップ解除動作後に取得する用紙幅方向端部位置データの取得タイミングを用紙長に応じて可変することを特徴とする請求項3記載の電子写真印刷装置。
