Abstract
【解決手段】 予め記憶された各地域に存在する送信塔A〜Dの位置情報及び各送信塔A〜Dから送信されるチャンネルに関するチャンネル情報を含む送信塔情報、並びに、多指向性アンテナの設置位置Pに関する地域情報に基づいて、地域情報により特定される地域にテレビジョン放送信号を送信している送信塔A〜Cを特定する。そして、例えば、送信塔Aについて、送信塔Aから送信されるチャンネル群の中の任意の1チャンネルについて多指向性アンテナの最適な受信方向を決定し、このようにして決定された受信方向を、送信塔Aから送信される全てのチャンネルの最適な受信方向とする。

Claims (3)
- あらかじめ規格で定められている複数の受信方向を有する多指向性アンテナが接続され、前記複数の受信方向のうちのいずれか1つの受信方向のみを有効にして、テレビジョン放送信号を受信するディジタルテレビジョン放送信号受信装置において、
前記多指向性アンテナに対して、テレビジョン放送信号を受信するための受信方向を指示するための制御信号を出力する制御信号出力手段と、
前記多指向性アンテナが接続され、テレビジョン放送信号の受信を行う放送信号受信手段と、
各地域に存在する送信塔の位置情報、及び各送信塔から送信されるチャンネルに関するチャンネル情報を含む送信塔情報を記憶した送信塔情報記憶手段と、
前記多指向性アンテナが設置される位置に関する地域情報を入力する地域情報入力手段と、
前記多指向性アンテナの全ての受信方向について連続的にスキャンし、前記放送信号受信手段により受信されたテレビジョン放送信号の受信強度に基づいて、受信可能な各チャンネルについての最適な受信方向を決定する受信方向決定手段と、
前記受信可能な全てのチャンネルについての最適な受信方向を記憶するチャンネル受信方向記憶手段と
を備え、
前記地域情報入力手段により地域情報が入力された際に、
前記受信方向決定手段は、
前記送信塔情報記憶手段に記憶されている位置情報に基づいて、前記地域情報で特定される地域にテレビジョン放送信号を送信している送信塔を特定し、
前記送信塔情報記憶手段に記憶されているチャンネル情報に基づいて、前記により特定された送信塔毎に、各送信塔から送信されるチャンネル群の中の最もチャンネル番号の小さいチャンネルについて、該チャンネルの最適な受信方向を決定し、
前記チャンネル受信方向記憶手段は、
前記により決定されたチャンネルの最適な受信方向を、該チャンネルを送信する送信塔から送信される全てのチャンネルの最適な受信方向として記憶することを特徴とするディジタルテレビジョン放送信号受信装置。 - あらかじめ規格で定められている複数の受信方向を有する多指向性アンテナが接続され、前記複数の受信方向のうちのいずれか1つの受信方向のみを有効にして、テレビジョン放送信号を受信するディジタルテレビジョン放送信号受信装置において、
予め記憶された各地域に存在する送信塔の位置情報及び各送信塔から送信されるチャンネルに関するチャンネル情報を含む送信塔情報、並びに、前記多指向性アンテナが設置される位置に関する地域情報とに基づいて、前記地域情報で特定される地域にテレビジョン放送信号を送信している送信塔を特定し、
前記送信塔から送信されるチャンネル群の中の任意の1チャンネルについて決定された前記多指向性アンテナの最適な受信方向を、該チャンネルを送信する送信塔から送信される全てのチャンネルの最適な受信方向として記憶することを特徴とするディジタルテレビジョン放送信号受信装置。 - 前記送信塔情報を更新する更新手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2のいずれかに記載のディジタルテレビジョン放送信号受信装置。
