Abstract
【解決手段】 鋼板表面上に、FeおよびNiのうちから選んだ1種または2種を含有する錫合金層を有し、その上層に0.5〜100mg/m2のPと0.1〜250mg/m2のSiを含有する化成皮膜を有し、前記化成皮膜の表面に、接着樹脂層を下層とし、25℃での水に対する表面接触角が87度以上である撥水性樹脂層を上層とする複合樹脂層を有することを特徴とする。

Description
錫合金層の上層に、上記従来技術を用いてCrを含有しない化成皮膜を形成した場合には、ラミネート樹脂との密着性を満足させることは困難であった。
この発明の樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板に用いる錫合金めっき鋼板は、通常のぶりき原板に錫合金層を形成したものであり、この発明における「錫合金層」とは、FeおよびNiのうちから選んだ1種または2種を含有する錫合金層を意味する。
この発明において、化成皮膜中のP含有量は、その付着量にして0.5〜100mg/m2の範囲とすることが必要である。0.5mg/m2未満では、密着性が十分に得られず、また、100mg/m2超えでは化成皮膜に欠陥が生じやすくなり、密着性が劣化するからである。尚、P付着量は、蛍光X線による表面分析により測定できる。
この発明では、化成皮膜中に含有するSiの付着量は、密着性向上効果が顕著に現われる0.1〜250mg/m2の範囲とする。0.1mg/m2未満だと、密着性向上効果が十分に得られないからであり、また、250mg/m2超えでは、未反応のSi成分が残存し、特にシランカップリング剤を用いた場合はシランカップリング剤が自己縮合して、密着性向上効果が低減するからである。Siを化成皮膜に含有させるには、シランカップリング剤を含有する溶液で処理することが好ましい。尚、Si付着量は蛍光X線による表面分析により測定できる。
本発明では、前記化成皮膜の表面に、接着樹脂層を下層とし、25℃での水に対する表面接触角が87度以上である撥水性樹脂層を上層とする複合樹脂層を形成する。
化成処理錫合金めっき鋼板は、通常のぶりき原板あるいはNiフラッシュめっき処理を施した原板若しくはNi拡散処理を施した原板に、Snめっきを施した後、錫の融点(231.9℃)以上の温度で加熱溶融(リフロー)処理を行ってSnを地鉄と合金化し、引き続き、浸漬処理によって化成処理を行うことによって、化成皮膜を形成した錫合金めっき鋼板を製造する。尚、リフロー処理後に、化成処理の反応性を向上させるため、15g/lの炭酸ナトリウム水溶液中で1C/dm2の陰極処理を行ってもよい。
また、上記では化成皮膜を形成した錫合金めっき鋼板上に、溶融樹脂を鋼板に直接接触させて被覆する、いわゆる押し出しラミネート技術で樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板とする場合について示したが、あらかじめ複合樹脂層をフィルムとして作製した後ラミネートする、いわゆるフィルムラミネート技術により被覆する方法としてもよい。ここで、押し出しラミネート法の方が、樹脂層の薄膜化やコストの面などで有利であり好ましい。
・実施例1〜11
板厚0.3mmの低炭素鋼または極低炭素鋼からなるぶりき原板に、表1に示す錫合金めっき層を形成させた後、表2に示す4種類の化成処理条件(A〜D)のいずれかを適用して化成皮膜を形成させた。その後、化成皮膜を形成した錫合金めっき鋼板を加熱した後、表3に記載の9種類の樹脂のいずれかを押し出し法によりラミネートし、樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板を製造した。得られた樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板について、錫合金層の合金種およびSn付着量、化成皮膜中のPとSi付着量、被覆樹脂層の種類および25℃での水に対する表面接触角(度)を表1に示す。なお、水に対する表面接触角の測定は、以下のようにして行なった。
接触角計(CA−SミクロII型、協和界面科学製)を用いて接触角計周囲の温度を25℃に設定した上で測定した。鋼板表面のたわみが無いように、サンプルを固定した後、付属の滴下機で純水を1滴落とし、表面に水滴を付着させた。次いで、鋼板表面と平行な方向から倍率300倍にて写真を撮り、その写真から分度器にて接触角を測定した。
比較のため、化成皮膜中のPおよびSi付着量のいずれか一方がこの発明の適正範囲外であるか、あるいは、被覆樹脂層の構成がこの発明の適正範囲外である樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板についても製造した。
実施例及び比較例の各樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板について、樹脂密着性と内容物耐食性を評価するための試験を行った。
得られた各樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板を、エリクセン試験機を用いて樹脂被覆面が3mmだけ凸側になるように張出し成形を行い、その後、沸騰水中に5時間浸漬した後、凸部の剥離状況によって樹脂密着性を下記に示す基準によって3段階で評価した。その評価結果を表1に示す。
評点3:フィルムが剥離しない場合
評点2:フィルムが僅かに浮き上がる状態の剥離が生じた場合
評点1:フィルムが完全に浮き上がった状態の剥離が生じた場合
得られた各樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板を、デュボン衝撃機にて凸部加工し、メチルエチルケトン30重量部、トルエン20重量部、ウレタン変性ポリエステル樹脂50重量部の溶剤含有樹脂溶液が凸加工部に接触するように充填した状態で、50℃の恒温室に90日間放置し、発錆の有無を観察した。デュボン衝撃の条件は、3/8”(インチ)ポンチを金属板の裏から押しあて、300gの錘を30cmの高さから評価面(表面)に落下させることによって凸部加工を行った。内容物耐食性は、凸加工部に発錆が発生しない場合を「○」とし、凸部に発錆が発生した場合を「×」として評価した。その評価結果を表1に示す。
一方、化成皮膜中のPおよびSi付着量のいずれか一方がこの発明の適正範囲外である比較例1〜4は、いずれも樹脂密着性が悪く、また、被覆樹脂層の構成がこの発明の適正範囲外である比較例5および6は、いずれも内容物耐食性が劣っている。
Claims (6)
- 鋼板表面上に、FeおよびNiのうちから選んだ1種または2種を含有する錫合金層を有し、その上層に0.5〜100mg/m2のPと0.1〜250mg/m2のSiを含有する化成皮膜を有し、前記化成皮膜の表面に、接着樹脂層を下層とし、25℃での水に対する表面接触角が87度以上である撥水性樹脂層を上層とする複合樹脂層を有することを特徴とする樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板。
- 前記化成皮膜は、Pとシランカップリング剤を含有する化成処理液により形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板。
- 前記錫合金層中のSnの付着量が0.1〜3.0g/m2であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板。
- 前記撥水性樹脂層が、フッ素を含有する樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂とのブレンド樹脂からなる請求項1、2または3記載の樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板。
- 前記撥水性樹脂層が、珪素を含有する樹脂と熱可塑性樹脂とのブレンド樹脂からなる請求項1、2または3記載の樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板。
- 前記撥水性樹脂層が、フッ素原子もしくはアルキル基を有するシランカップリング剤を熱可塑性樹脂に混合したブレンド樹脂からなる請求項1、2または3記載の樹脂被覆錫合金めっき鋼板。
