Abstract
【解決手段】 所定方向からの力を受けると弾性変位を生じる弾性変位領域を有するように、支持部材によって支持された荷重伝達部材2と、荷重伝達部材2の弾性変位領域と接して備えられ、弾性変位に伴う荷重を検出する荷重センサ5と、荷重センサ5を支持し、かつ支持部材3と連結する荷重センサ支持部材4とが、所定方向においてこの順で備えられるとともに、支持部材3は、荷重センサ5と接することなく備えられ、荷重伝達部材2は、荷重センサ5よりも所定方向における剛性が低いことを特徴とする。

Description

で表すことができる。これらの式から分かるように、荷重分担量は弾性変形の大きい部材ほど小さくなる。すなわち、高い剛性を有する部材ほど荷重を多く受け持つと言える。本発明においては、荷重センサが、荷重伝達部材よりも剛性が高く備えられていることで、加えられる荷重Fに対して荷重センサが受け持つ過重分担量が大きいので、高感度かつ高精度の荷重検出を可能としている。

Claims (7)
- 所定方向からの力を受けると弾性変位を生じる弾性変位領域を有するように、支持部材によって支持された荷重伝達部材と、前記荷重伝達部材の前記弾性変位領域と接して備えられ、前記弾性変位を生じさせようとする荷重を検出する荷重センサと、前記荷重センサを支持し、かつ前記支持部材と連結する荷重センサ支持部材とが、前記所定方向においてこの順で備えられるとともに、
前記支持部材は、前記荷重センサと接することなく備えられ、
前記荷重伝達部材は、前記荷重センサよりも前記所定方向における剛性が低いことを特徴とする荷重検出装置。 - 前記支持部材は、前記所定方向に対する剛性が、それとは異なる方向に対する剛性よりも低いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の荷重検出装置。
- 前記荷重センサは、前記弾性変位領域の重心部と接して備えられることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の荷重検出装置。
- 前記支持部材は、前記弾性変位領域の重心から前記所定方向に伸びる軸線に対して、対称的に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の荷重検出装置。
- 前記荷重センサは、ジルコ二アと、圧力抵抗効果を有するLa1−xSrxMnO3(0≦x≦1)とを主材料として構成されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の荷重検出装置。
- 車両のバンパカバーの内側に備えられたエネルギーアブゾーバに連結された車両左右方向に伸びるバンパリインフォースメントと、車両前後方向に伸びるサイドメンバーの車両前方側との間に挟持され、車両のバンパカバー側から加えられる荷重を検出することを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の荷重検出装置。
- 車両用シートの座面と車体の一部であるフロアとの間に備えられ、前記車両用シートの前記座面に加えられる荷重を検出することを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の荷重検出装置。
