Abstract
クロムを使用せずに塗装密着性、耐食性、耐酸性、耐アルカリ性、耐溶剤性に優れ、亜鉛系被覆鋼、アルミニウム系被覆鋼等の鋼材を被覆するに好適な鋼材用水性被覆剤、これを用いた鋼材の被覆方法及び被覆された鋼材を提供する。
【解決手段】
水性樹脂を1〜50質量%、グアニジン化合物を0.01〜30質量%及びシランカップリング剤を1〜50質量%含有する鋼材用水性被覆剤。

Description
上記鋼材用水性被覆剤は、更に、リン酸イオンを0.01〜30質量%含有することが好ましい。
上記鋼材用水性被覆剤は、更に、Ti、Zr、Al及びVからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種の元素を有する金属錯体を0.01〜30質量%含有することが好ましい。
上記鋼材用水性被覆剤は、更に、フィチン酸及び/又はポリフェノール化合物を0.01〜30質量%含有することが好ましい。
上記水性樹脂は、エポキシ系樹脂及び/又はフェノール系樹脂であることが好ましい。
上記グアニジン化合物は、下記一般式(1)
上記グアニジン化合物は、グアニジン、アミノグアニジン、グアニルチオ尿素、1,3−ジフェニルグアニジン、1,3−ジ−o−トリルグアニジン、1−o−トリルビグアニド、ポリヘキサメチレンビグアニジン、ポリヘキサエチレンビグアニジン、ポリペンタメチレンビグアニジン、ポリペンタエチレンビグアニジン、ポリビニルビグアニジン、ポリアリルビグアニジン、クロルヘキシルジン及びこれらの塩からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種であることが好ましい。
更に、樹脂層上に、皮膜の乾燥付着量として0.1〜5g/m2となる、有機樹脂からなる第二の樹脂層を形成するものであってもよい。
更に、上塗り塗料を塗布して、乾燥膜厚が5〜300μmの上塗り塗膜を形成するものであってもよい。
上記鋼材は、亜鉛系被覆鋼又はアルミニウム系被覆鋼からなるものであることが好ましい。
以下に、本発明を詳細に説明する。
上記グアニジン化合物としては、上記一般式(1)で表わされるグアニジン化合物を使用することが好ましい。
上記水性エポキシ樹脂及び/又は水性フェノール樹脂にアミノ基を導入する方法としては特に限定されず、例えば、溶媒中で上記樹脂とアミン化合物とを混合する方法等の通常の方法を挙げることができる。
上記異なる樹脂層としては特に限定されず、例えば、上塗り塗料を塗布することにより得られる樹脂層を挙げることができる。上記上塗り塗料としては特に限定されず、例えば、アクリル樹脂、アクリル変性アルキッド樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ウレタン樹脂、メラミン樹脂、フタル酸樹脂、アミノ樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、塩化ビニル樹脂等からなる塗料等を挙げることができる。また、上記上塗り塗料は、チタンホワイト、カーボンブラック等の着色顔料、タルク等の体質顔料、アルミニウム粉、銅粉等の金属顔料、鉛丹、硫酸鉛等の防錆顔料等を含有していてもよい。更に、分散剤、乾燥剤、可塑剤、消泡剤、増粘剤、安定剤、皮張り防止剤、かび防止剤、防腐剤、凍結防止剤等を含有していてもよい。
製造例1
攪拌機、温度調節器、滴下漏斗、及び、冷却器を備えたコルベンに、エポキシ当量190のビスフェノールFエピクロルヒドリン型エポキシ樹脂190質量部にジエタノールアミン30部、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート110部を加え、100℃で2時間反応させ、不揮発分70%の変性エポキシ樹脂を得た。攪拌機、温度調節器、滴下漏斗、及び、冷却器を備えたコルベンに、NCOが13.3%、不揮発分75%のトリメチロールプロパンの2,4−トルエンジイソシアネートプレポリマーを100部、ノニルフェノール44部、ジメチルベンジルアミン5部、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート65部を混合し、窒素雰囲気下80℃で3時間、反応させ、不揮発分70%、NCO%が20%のハーフブロック化ポリイソシアネートを得た。上記変性エポキシ樹脂70部と上記ハーフブロック化ポリイソシアネート30部を混合し、80℃で4時間攪拌して反応させた後、赤外線分光分析でNCO基の吸収が完全になくなることを確認した。その後、酢酸3部を混合し、さらにイオン交換水で希釈して不揮発分25%、pH4.1である水性エポキシ樹脂を得た。
攪拌機、温度調節器、滴下漏斗、及び、冷却器を備えたコルベンに、m−クレゾール108g、m−キシレングリコールジメチルエーテル5g、p−トルエンスルホン酸0.3gを仕込み、160℃で2時間反応させた。内温を100℃まで下げ、37%ホルムアルデヒド水溶液61gを1時間かけて添加し、100℃で2時間還流反応を行い、140℃まで常圧脱水反応を行った。次いで、真空脱水を行い、系内の温度が160℃まで昇温したところで重縮合反応を終了とした。次いで120℃まで温度を下げ、ブチルセルソルブ194gを添加し、重縮合物を完全に溶解させ、純水194gを100℃以下で添加し、系内の温度が50℃まで下がったところで、N−メチルアミノエタノール1モル75gを添加し、37%ヒルムアルデヒド水溶液81.1gを1時間かけて逐次添加し、50℃で1時間反応させ、更に90℃で1.5時間反応させ、不揮発分31%の変性フェノールを得た。上記変性フェノール樹脂100部に75%オルトリン酸23部を混合し、さらにイオン交換水で希釈して不揮発分25%、pH4.0である水性フェノール樹脂を得た。
鋼材用水性被覆剤の調製
上記製造例1によって得られた水性エポキシ樹脂を固形分として7.5g採取し、ポリヘキサメチレンビグアニジンリン酸塩を0.1g、γ−グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを2.5g、タンニン酸を0.5g配合し、イオン交換水を加えて、固形分10%である実施例1の鋼材用水性被覆剤を調製した。
第二の樹脂層形成用処理液の調整
ポリウレタン樹脂(ボンタイターHUX320 旭電化工業株式会社)を固形分として17.5g及び硬化剤(サイメル385 三井化学株式会社)を固形分として7.5g採取し、イオン交換水を加えて固形分25%の第二の樹脂層形成用処理液を調製した。
試験板作成
70mm×150mm×0.8mmの電気亜鉛めっき鋼板(日本テストパネル製)を55℃のアルカリ脱脂剤(サーフクリーナー53、日本ペイント製)2%水溶液を用いて、60℃で2分間スプレー処理して脱脂した。次いで、水洗、イオン交換水洗、乾燥を順次行った。次に、電気亜鉛めっき鋼板に上記鋼材用水性被覆剤をバーコーターで、所定の付着量になるように塗布し、20秒で鋼板到達温度が150℃になるように焼き付けて試験板を作成した。更に必要に応じて第二の樹脂層形成用処理液をバーコーターで、所定の付着量になるように塗布し、20秒で鋼板到達温度が200℃になるように焼き付けて試験板を作成した。
水性樹脂、グアニジン化合物、シランカップリング剤、リン酸イオン、金属錯体、ポリフェノール化合物、金属酸化物粒子、有機樹脂及び有機複合樹脂の種類と濃度を表2〜13に記載したように変えたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして鋼材用水性被覆剤を調製し、試験板を作成した。なお、表2〜13中の第二の樹脂層を形成するために使用した有機樹脂及び硬化剤は、表1に示した。
耐酸性、耐食性、耐アルカリ性、耐溶剤性、塗装密着性、皮膜密着性を評価した。その結果を表2〜13に記載する。評価は下記の方法にしたがって行った。
<耐酸性>
試験板の上に1%酢酸水溶液をスポイトで0.5ml滴下し、55℃、90%湿度雰囲気下で48時間放置後、塗膜の外観を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:変化なし
○:黒変面積が10%未満
△:同10%以上30%未満
×:同30%以上
試験板の平面部、並びに、エリクセンテスターで7mm押し出した加工部の端面部及び裏面部をテープでシールし、5%の食塩水を35℃で噴霧し、240時間後の白錆発生面積率を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:白錆発生なし
○:白錆発生面積が10%未満
△:同10%以上30%未満
×:同30%以上
試験板を55℃のアルカリ脱脂剤(サーフクリーナー53、日本ペイント製)2%水溶液に撹拌しながら2分間浸漬した後、テープでシールし、5%の食塩水を35℃で噴霧し、120時間後の白錆発生面積率を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:白錆発生なし
○:白錆発生面積が10%未満
△:同10%以上30%未満
×:同30%以上
試験板をラビングテスター(自動化技研工業社製)に設置後、エタノールを含浸させた脱脂綿を0.5Kgf/cm2の荷重で10回(往復)、更に、ケロシン含浸させた脱脂綿を0.5Kgf/cm2の荷重で50回(往復)擦った後、テープでシールし、5%の食塩水を35℃で噴霧し、48時間後の白錆発生面積率を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:白錆発生なし
○:白錆発生面積が10%未満
△:同10%以上30%未満
×:同30%以上
試験板にフィラメンテープ(スリオン社製)を貼り、40℃、湿度80%の条件下で3日間放置後、テープを強制剥離して、塗膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:剥離なし
○:剥離面積率が10%未満
△:剥離面積率が10%以上50%未満
×:剥離面積率が50%以上
試験板表面にメラミンアルキッド塗料(スーパーラック100、日本ペイント製)をバーコーターで乾燥膜厚20μmとなるように塗布し、120℃で25分間焼き付けて塗装板を作製した。次に塗膜板を沸騰水中に30分間浸漬し、24時間放置後、エリクセンテスターにて塗膜板を7mm押し出し、その押し出し部にセロテープ(ニチバン製)を貼り、強制剥離した後の塗膜状態を下記の評価基準で評価した。
◎:剥離なし
○:剥離面積率が10%未満
△:剥離面積率が10%以上50%未満
×:剥離面積率が50%以上

- 水性樹脂を1〜50質量%、グアニジン化合物を0.01〜30質量%及びシランカップリング剤を1〜50質量%含有することを特徴とする鋼材用水性被覆剤。
- 更に、リン酸イオンを0.01〜30質量%含有する請求項1記載の鋼材用水性被覆剤。
- 更に、Ti、Zr、Al及びVからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種の元素を有する金属錯体を0.01〜30質量%含有する請求項1又は2記載の鋼材用水性被覆剤。
- 更に、フィチン酸及び/又はポリフェノール化合物を0.01〜30質量%含有する請求項1、2又は3記載の鋼材用水性被覆剤。
- 更に、Si、Al、Ti、Zr及びNbからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種の金属元素からなる金属酸化物粒子を0.01〜30質量%含有する請求項1、2、3又は4記載の鋼材用水性被覆剤。
- 水性樹脂は、水性エポキシ樹脂及び/又は水性フェノール樹脂である請求項1、2、3、4又は5記載の鋼材用水性被覆剤。
- グアニジン化合物は、下記一般式(1)

前記鋼材用水性被覆剤は、請求項1、2、3、4、5、6、7又は8記載の鋼材用水性被覆剤からなり、鋼材表面に乾燥付着量として0.01〜5g/m2となる割合で塗布されるものである
