Abstract
高性能なアクチュエータを備えた車両駆動装置を提供することにある。
【解決手段】
内燃機関によって駆動される駆動用高出力発電機44と、駆動用高出力発電機44の出力電圧が供給され、駆動される電動機30と、電動機30と車軸34A,34Bの間に配置された電磁クラッチ32を有する。DC−DCコンバータ70は、バッテリー42の電圧を昇圧して、電磁クラッチ及び、駆動用高出力発電機44の界磁巻線47と、電動機30の界磁巻線31に供給する。

Description
しかしながら、特開2003−079004号公報に記載のものでは、発電機出力電圧を昇圧するために、昇圧手段の入力電圧は発電機最大出力電圧まで上昇する上、電動機等の負荷変化によって発電機の出力電圧が変化するため、変換ノイズ・損失・部品サイズ共に大きくなる不具合があり、高耐圧・入出力可変の昇圧手段を用いる必要があった。
かかる構成により、アクチュエータを小型化でき、発熱を抑えて、高性能化し得るものとなる。
最初に、図1を用いて、本実施形態による車両駆動装置を用いた電動4輪駆動車両の全体構成について説明する。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態による車両駆動装置を用いた電動4輪駆動車両の全体構成を示すシステム構成図である。
図2は、本発明の一実施形態による車両駆動装置の全体構成を示すシステム構成図である。なお、図1と同一符号は、同一部分を示している。
図3は、本発明の一実施形態による車両駆動装置の中の4WDCU60の制御内容を示すフローチャートである。図4は、本発明の一実施形態による車両駆動装置に用いる高出力発電機の特性図である。

で計算される昇圧される電圧(定常・無損失のとき)が得られることになる。ここで、Vout:DC−DCコンバータ出力電圧であり、Ton:トランジスタ72のオン時間であり、Toff:トランジスタ72のオフ時間であり、Vin:DC−DCコンバータ入力電圧である。したがって、例えば、Ton=Toff とすると、出力電圧は、2倍に昇圧される。

図6は、本発明の一実施形態による車両駆動装置の制御内容を示すフローチャートである。
ステップs100において、電動車両の運転者が、イグニッションスイッチ(SW)をオンし、ステップs105において、同じく電動車両の運転者が、マニュアル4WDスイッチ(M4WDSW)をオンすると、4WDCU60は、クラッチ32のガタ詰め制御を開始する。ここで、マニュアル4WDスイッチは、図1には図示していないが、運転者が任意に2WDと4WDを切り換えるためのスイッチであり、運転者が4輪駆動で電動4輪車両を動作させたい場合にオンすることにより、電動4輪駆動車両として動作させることができるものである。このスイッチをオフすると、エンジンのみによる駆動となる。また、クラッチ32は、初期状態ではガタが詰まっていないため、そのまま発進すると、ショックを発生するため、ステップs110において、クラッチ32のガタを詰める制御を実行する。

- 車両の駆動に用いるアクチュエータと、このアクチュエータに電力を供給する車載電源と、前記アクチュエータの駆動を制御する制御手段とを有する車両駆動装置において、
前記車載電源の出力電圧を昇圧する昇圧手段を備え、
この昇圧手段によって昇圧された電力を前記アクチュエータに供給することを特徴とする車両駆動装置。 - 請求項1記載の車両駆動装置において、
前記アクチュエータは、電磁クラッチであることを特徴とする車両駆動装置。 - 請求項2記載の車両駆動装置において、
