積層シートを円筒状に形成した胴部の上端に設けられるショルダーが、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂のみから成ることを特徴とするチューブ容器。

Description
傾斜面でカットした積層シートの側縁の切断端面同士を突き合わせて、かつ、所定の状態にずらせて溶着する。そのためポリオレフィンの最外層同士が溶着され、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂の最内層同士が溶着する。したがって最内層と最外層の材質が異なるにも関わらず、溶着強度が強い。さらに傾斜面で突き合わせるので、上下の加圧力が接合部の端面に対して強く働く。また接合面積が広い。したがって、接合強度が強くなる。又、斜めの切断端面に対して、上側を上にずらせるようにして突き合わせているので、上側のはみ出した部位が最外層の表面上に流れて広い範囲で接合され、下側のはみ出した部位が最内層の表面に沿って流れて、広い範囲で接合される。したがって接合強度が強くなり、また、表面の美観も損なわれない。特に、内面に補強層を設けた場合は、その部位がいくらか厚くなるが、外側から見た形状はほとんど変わらず、外見が美麗に保たれる。内面と外面の両面に補強層を設けた場合は、さらに一層接合強度が強くなる。
の補強層を設けているので、この補強層が最内層のエチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂層と融着する。そのため一層溶着強度が強い。最内層のエチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂が継ぎ目部分でも連続するので、チューブ容器の内容物を保護し、含有されている香料などを吸着したり、変質させるおそれが少ない。しかも、重ね合わせないので部分的に厚くなることがなく、継ぎ目部分は美麗な外観を呈する。特に補強層を、溶融エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂を垂らすことにより設ける場合は、加圧溶着により継ぎ目部の隙間を塞ぎ、両者が剥がれるのを完全に防止する。そして、継ぎ目部にわずかな隙間がある場合でも、その隙間内に溶融エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂
が浸透し、しっかりと継ぎ目を補強する。継ぎ目部23は、ほとんど段差がなく、しかも補強層22aは内面だけの場合は、継ぎ目部23の外観は平滑で、チューブ容器1の外観を損なわない。そして、継ぎ目部23の溶着強度が一層強くなる。これにより、チューブ容器1は、胴部3の内面全体が、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂のみで覆われており、香料の香気成分を吸着せず、内容物を変質させない。また胴部3の上端がショルダー2によって包まれているため、胴部3のアルミニウムなどの中間層が外気に触れず、腐蝕することも防ぐことができる。
各層の厚さは、たとえばポリエチレン31が20μm、ホワイトポリエチレン32が130μm、エチレンメタクリル酸コポリマー33が25μm、アルミニウム箔34が15μm、エチレンメタクリル酸コポリマー35が40μm、ポリエチレン36が60μm、接着性ポリエチレン37が10μm、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂38が20ミクロンである。その場合、積層シート11の厚さは0.32mmとなる。なお、各層間に適宜にウレタン系などの接着剤を介在させてもよい。実施例5において、最外層のポリエチレン層と最内層のエチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂層を除いて、他の層構成として、ホワイトポリエチレンに代えてポリエチレン、エチレンメタクリル酸コポリマーに代えてエチレンアクリル酸コポリマー又は接着性ポリエチレン、アルミニウム箔に代えてエチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂、接着性ポリエチレンに代えてエチレンメタクリル酸コポリマー又はエチレンアクリル酸コポリマー等を使用することもできる。

Claims (8)
- 積層シートを円筒状に形成した胴部の上端に設けられる口頭部(ショルダー)が、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂のみから成ることを特徴とするチューブ容器。
- 前記積層シートを円筒状に形成した胴部の最内層が、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂のみから成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載のチューブ容器。
- エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂からなる最内層、ガスバリア性を有する中間層およびポリオレフィンからなる最外層を備えた積層シートの両側縁を、互いに対応する向きの傾斜面で斜めにカットし、上に乗る側をいくらか上向きにずらせて、傾斜面同士を突き合わせ、内面側又は外面側の少なくとも一方の継ぎ目部分に沿って、エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂からなる補強層を設けて、加熱圧着して円筒状に形成した胴部を備えていることを特徴とするチューブ容器。
- 前記補強層が、溶融エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂を垂らして加熱圧着することにより固定したものであることを特徴とする請求項3記載のチューブ容器。
- 外側から、ポリエチレン/ホワイトポリエチレン/エチレンメタクリル酸コポリマー/アルミニウム箔/エチレンメタクリル酸コポリマー/ポリエチレン/接着性ポリエチレン/エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂の順に積層している積層シートから形成した胴部を有する請求項1〜4記載のチューブ容器。
- エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂からなる最内層、ガスバリア性を有する中間層およびポリオレフィンからなる最外層を備えた積層シートの両側縁を、互いに対応する向きの傾斜面でカットし、上に乗る側をいくらか上向きにずらせて、傾斜面同士を突き合わせ、内面側の継ぎ目部分に沿うように、上下から挟み着ける金属または合成樹脂性のベルトのうち、下側のベルト表面に、溶融エチレンービニルアルコール共重合体樹脂を垂らし、その上下のベルトで加熱加圧して、両側縁同士を接着することにより円筒状の胴部を形成し、ついで、その胴部の一端に合成樹脂製の頭部を成形・接着することを特徴とするチューブ容器の製造法。
- 環状のショルダー材を切断・分離するためのプレートに、エアー吹き出し孔を形成し、真上からエアーを吹き付けて、環状のショルダー材を材料流から切断・分離して金型内に落下させるチューブ容器の製造方法。
- 環状のショルダー材を切断・分離するためのプレートの下面に、材料流から環状のショルダー材を切断・分離するための、凹凸部を形成したことを特徴とするチューブ容器の製造方法。
