Abstract
【課題】 電子伝導性やエネルギーを低下させることなく、充放電サイクル特性や急速充放電特性に優れた電極活物質に用いられる導電性を有する共重合体化合物、及びこれを用いた電気化学セルを提供すること。
【解決手段】 電極活物質の酸化還元の繰り返しによる劣化を防止する機能を有する複素環式化合物の単量体からなる重合単位と、電極活物質として機能するプロトン伝導型化合物の重合単位を含む、ブロック共重合体またはグラフト共重合体を電極活物質として用いる。共重合体の単量体の配列を制御することで、π電子の非局在化による電子伝導経路の形成が確保され、かつ複素環式化合物の機能をも十分に発現させることが可能となり、これを用いた電気化学セルは、抵抗の上昇やエネルギーの低下を抑制しながら、充放電サイクル特性や急速充放電特性を向上することができる。

Claims (14)
- プロトン源を含む溶液中において、電気化学的な酸化還元反応を起こし、電極活物質として機能するプロトン伝導型化合物の単量体、及び複素環式化合物の単量体を有することを特徴とする共重合体化合物。
- 前記プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体の重合単位、及び前記複素環式化合物の単量体の重合単位を有する、ブロック共重合体であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の共重合体化合物。
- 前記プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体を重合してなる幹高分子に対し、前記複素環式化合物の単量体を重合してなる枝高分子、または、前記複素環式化合物の単量体から選ばれる少なくともいずれかを、一つ以上結合してなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の共重合体化合物。
- 前記プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体の重合単位、及び前記複素環式化合物の単量体の重合単位を有するブロック共重合体からなる幹高分子に対し、前記複素環式化合物の単量体を重合してなる枝高分子、または、前記複素環式化合物の単量体から選ばれる少なくともいずれかを、一つ以上結合してなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の共重合体化合物。
- 前記プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体、及び前記複素環式化合物の単量体を共重合してなる重合単位と、前記プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体を単独重合してなる重合単位と、前記複素環式化合物の単量体を単独重合してなる重合単位を有することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物。
- 前記プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体、及び前記複素環式化合物の単量体の各々を、2成分以上有することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物。
- 前記プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体の重合単位の数平均分子量は、前記複素環式化合物の単量体の重合単位の数平均分子量よりも大きいことを特徴とする、請求項2ないし請求項6のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物。
- 前記複素環式化合物の単量体の含有質量比は、プロトン伝導型化合物の単量体の100質量部に対して、1〜95質量部であることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物。
- 前記プロトン伝導型化合物として、化1で表されるキノキサリンまたはキノキサリン誘導体の少なくともいずれかを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物(式中、Rは重合体中の主鎖または側鎖を構成し、それぞれ独立に、水素原子、ヒドロキシ基、アミノ基、カルボキシル基、ニトロ基、フェニル基、ビニル基、ハロゲン原子、アシル基、シアノ基、トリフルオロメチル基、アルコキシ基、スルホニル基、スルホン酸基、トリフルオロメチルチオ基、カルボン酸基、カルボン酸エステル基、スルホン酸エステル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数6〜20のアリール基、炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、炭素数6〜20のアリール基、複素環式化合物残基を表す)。
- 前記複素環式化合物として、化2または化3で表される化合物の少なくともいずれかを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項9のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物(式中、Rはそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、ヒドロキシ基、アミノ基、カルボキシル基、ニトロ基、フェニル基、ビニル基、ハロゲン原子、アシル基、シアノ基、トリフルオロメチル基、アルコキシ基、スルホニル基、スルホン酸基、トリフルオロメチルチオ基、カルボン酸基、カルボン酸エステル基、スルホン酸エステル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数6〜20のアリール基、炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、炭素数6〜20のアリール基、複素環式化合物残基を、Xは、窒素原子、硫黄原子、酸素原子から選ばれるヘテロ原子を表す)。
- 前記複素環式化合物として、化4で表されるイミダゾール及びイミダゾール誘導体、化5、化6で表されるトリアゾール及びトリアゾール誘導体、化7で表されるピラゾール及びピラゾール誘導体を含む化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項10のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物(式中、Rはそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、ヒドロキシ基、アミノ基、カルボキシル基、ニトロ基、フェニル基、ビニル基、ハロゲン原子、アシル基、シアノ基、トリフルオロメチル基、アルコキシ基、スルホニル基、スルホン酸基、トリフルオロメチルチオ基、カルボン酸基、カルボン酸エステル基、スルホン酸エステル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数6〜20のアリール基、炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、炭素数6〜20のアリール基、複素環式化合物残基を表す)。
- 前記複素環化合物として、化8、化9、化10で表されるポリベンズイミダゾール及びその誘導体、化11で表されるポリベンズビスイミダゾール、化12で表されるポリビニルイミダゾール及びその誘導体から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項11のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物(式中、R,R1,R2はそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、ヒドロキシ基、アミノ基、カルボキシル基、ニトロ基、フェニル基、ビニル基、ハロゲン原子、アシル基、シアノ基、トリフルオロメチル基、アルコキシ基、スルホニル基、スルホン酸基、トリフルオロメチルチオ基、カルボン酸基、カルボン酸エステル基、スルホン酸エステル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、前記の置換基を有する炭素数6〜20のアリール基、炭素数1〜20のアルキル基、炭素数2〜20のアルケニル基、炭素数6〜20のアリール基、複素環式化合物残基を表す。同じく、R3は、前記の置換基を有するアリーレン基またはアリーレン基を表す)。
- 電極材料中の電極活物質として、請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載の共重合体化合物を含むことを特徴とする電気化学セル。
