Abstract
【解決手段】 Feを主成分とし、C:0.8重量%以下、Si:0.05〜1.0重量%、Mn:1.0重量%以下、Ni:1.0〜10.0重量%以下からなる焼結用原料粉末であって、当該焼結用原料粉末の平均粒径が8.5μm以下である焼結用原料粉末および当該前記焼結用原料粉末を、バインダーを用いて造粒してなる焼結用造粒粉末により解決する。

Description
さらに、粉末粒度の影響を考慮すると、粉末の平均粒度が大きい場合には焼結密度が低く、クローズド・ポアが多いため、焼結後の浸炭焼入れ深さが不安定となる問題もあった。
実施形態1に係る焼結用原料粉末は、Feを主成分とし、C:0.8重量%以下、Si:0.05〜1.0重量%、Mn:1.0重量%以下、Ni:1.0〜10.0重量%以下からなる。
本実施形態の焼結用造粒粉末は、実施形態1で説明した焼結用原料粉末を、バインダーを用いて造粒して形成される。
本実施形態の焼結体の製造方法は、焼結用原料(実施形態1の焼結用原料粉末又は実施形態2の焼結用造粒粉末)を製造する第1工程と、前記第1工程により得られた焼結用原料を成形した後、焼結する第2工程を備えている。
表1に記載した組成、粉末平均粒径および造粒平均粒径にて焼結体を製造し、比較例1〜6とした。
実施例2、4、6、8で得られた焼結体(円盤状試験片)を被験試料として、相対密度の測定を行った。相対密度は、まず日本粉末冶金工業会規格「焼結金属材料−密度、含油率及び解放気孔率試験方法」JPMA M01-1992に準じて焼結体密度を測定し、その焼結密度と真密度との値から、百分率で求めた。
実施例2、4、6、8で得られた焼結体(引張り試験片)を被験試料として、焼結体の機械的性質(強度均一性、伸び均一性)の評価を行った。試験方法としてはインストロン型万能材料試験機(4206型)を用いて、1mm/minの応力により引張試験を行った。
前記引張試験を、1試料について10回実施し、焼結体の引張り強さを求めた。その平均値に対して10回の測定値のばらつきを百分率で求めて、これを均一性の評価とした。評価基準は以下の通りである。

Claims (7)
- Feを主成分とし、C:0.8重量%以下、Si:0.05〜1.0重量%、Mn:1.0重量%以下、Ni:1.0〜10.0重量%以下からなる焼結用原料粉末であって、
当該焼結用原料粉末の平均粒径が8.5μm以下である焼結用原料粉末。 - さらに、Cr:2.0重量%以下、Mo:3.0重量%以下、Cu:3.0重量%以下、Nb:0.15〜1.0重量%、Ti:0.05重量%以下から選択される少なくとも1種を含有する請求項1記載の焼結用原料粉末。
- 前記焼結用原料粉末は、プレアロイ法によって製造される請求項1又は2記載の焼結用原料粉末。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の焼結用原料粉末を、バインダーを用いて造粒してなる、焼結用造粒粉末。
- 前記焼結用造粒粉末の平均粒径が10〜150μmである請求項4記載の焼結用造粒粉末。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の焼結用原料粉末又は請求項4又は5に記載の焼結用造粒粉末を用いて製造され、相対密度が97%以上である焼結体。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の焼結用原料粉末又は請求項4又は5に記載の焼結用造粒粉末を成形した後、所定の温度条件で焼結する段階を備える、焼結体の製造方法。
