Abstract
【解決手段】複数のランプを備えるランプユニット6を保持、固定する筐体の裏側の面に、板金を隆起させることによって筐体との間に空間を形成する凸状部と、板金を窪ませることによって筐体に接触する凹状部とを組み合わせて形成した補助板10を固定し、該補助板10を、熱に弱い基板などを載置する領域は凸状部で形成して空気層で断熱し、他の領域は凸状部と凹状部とを温められた空気が流れやすい方向に配列する。これにより、平板状の板金に比べて格段に剛性を高めることができると共に、バックライトで発生する熱を効率的に放熱して温度上昇や温度勾配の発生を抑制する。

Claims (7)
- 少なくとも、対向する基板間に液晶が挟持された液晶パネルと、前記液晶パネルを照明する複数のランプが配列されたランプユニットとが、複数の筐体によって保持されてなる液晶表示装置において、
前記ランプユニット側に配置される前記筐体の内側又は外側の面に、
前記筐体との間に空気層が形成される凸状部と、前記筐体に接触する凹状部とが繰り返し設けられ、前記凸状部及び前記凹状部が、前記空気層の空気が前記補助板の一辺から他辺に抜けるように延在する補助板が固定されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 対向する基板間に液晶が挟持された液晶パネルと、前記液晶パネルを照明する複数のランプが配列されたランプユニットと、前記ランプの光を均一な照明光とする光学シートと、前記ランプユニット及び前記光学シートを保持し互いに嵌合する前記ランプユニット側の第1の筐体及び前記光学シート側の第2の筐体と、前記第2の筐体上に配置される前記液晶パネルを保持する第3の筐体と、を少なくとも備える液晶表示装置において、
前記ランプの光を前記液晶パネルに反射する反射板を兼ねる前記第1の筐体の外側の面に、前記第1の筐体との間に空気層が形成される凸状部と、前記第1の筐体に接触する凹状部とで構成される補助板が固定され、
前記補助板は、前記液晶パネルを駆動する回路基板又は前記ランプを駆動するインバータ基板の少なくとも一方が載置される前記凸状部からなる第1の領域と、前記凸状部と前記凹状部とが繰り返し設けられ、前記凸状部及び前記凹状部が、前記空気層の空気が前記補助板の一辺から他辺に抜けるように延在する第2の領域とを備えることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 対向する基板間に液晶が挟持された液晶パネルと、前記液晶パネルを照明する複数のランプが配列され、前記ランプの光を前記液晶パネルに反射する反射板を備えるランプユニットと、前記ランプの光を均一な照明光とする光学シートと、前記ランプユニット及び前記光学シートを保持し互いに嵌合する前記ランプユニット側の第1の筐体及び前記光学シート側の第2の筐体と、前記第2の筐体上に配置される前記液晶パネルを保持する第3の筐体と、を少なくとも備える液晶表示装置において、
前記第1の筐体の内側の面に、前記第1の筐体との間に空気層が形成される凸状部と、前記第1の筐体に接触する凹状部とが繰り返し設けられ、前記凸状部及び前記凹状部が、前記空気層の空気が前記補助板の一辺から他辺に抜けるように延在する補助板が固定されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記凸状部及び前記凹状部は、その延在方向が、前記液晶表示装置を設置した状態における略上下方向を向くように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記凸状部及び前記凹状部は、その延在方向が、前記液晶表示装置の長辺又は短辺に対して傾斜するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記凸状部及び前記凹状部は、少なくとも1箇所で屈曲するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記凸状部及び前記凹状部は、その延在方向で前記凸状部又は前記凹状部の幅が変化することを特徴とする請求項4乃至6のいずれか一に記載の液晶表示装置。
