Abstract
【解決手段】水平面に対して立てて用いられる液晶表示装置であって、
液晶表示パネルと、この液晶表示パネルの背面に配置されるバックライトとを有し、
前記バックライトは、前記液晶表示パネルと対向する平面内に並設される複数の光源と、これら光源を収納するフレームと、このフレームの内側に配置される放熱板と、該放熱板の前記液晶表示パネル側の面に配置される反射シートを備え、
前記放熱板は、その上方に相当する部分に、前記フレームに形成された透孔を通して該フレームの前記液晶表示パネルと反対側の面へ突出する放熱フィンが形成され、
下方に相当する部分に、前記フレームおよび前記反射シートによって閉塞される透孔が形成されている。

Description
液晶表示パネルと、この液晶表示パネルの背面に配置されるバックライトとを有し、
前記バックライトは、前記液晶表示パネルと対向する平面内に並設される複数の光源と、これら光源を収容するフレームと、このフレームの内側に配置される放熱板と、該放熱板の前記液晶表示パネル側の面に配置される反射シートを備え、
前記放熱板は、その上方に相当する部分に、前記フレームに形成された開口を通して該フレームの前記液晶表示パネルと反対側の面へ突出する放熱フィンが形成され、
下方に相当する部分に、前記フレームおよび前記反射シートによって閉塞される開口が形成されていることを特徴とする。
Claims (7)
- 水平面に対して立てて用いられる液晶表示装置であって、
液晶表示パネルと、この液晶表示パネルの背面に配置されるバックライトとを有し、
前記バックライトは、前記液晶表示パネルと対向する平面内に並設される複数の光源と、これら光源を収容するフレームと、このフレームの内側に配置される放熱板と、該放熱板の前記液晶表示パネル側の面に配置される反射シートを備え、
前記放熱板は、その上方に相当する部分に、前記フレームに形成された開口を通して該フレームの前記液晶表示パネルと反対側の面へ突出する放熱フィンが形成され、
下方に相当する部分に、前記フレームおよび前記反射シートによって閉塞される開口が形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 放熱板の前記放熱フィンは前記放熱板の一部を起立させて構成され、前記放熱板の起立によって形成される該放熱板の開口に対向する前記フレームの箇所に開口が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記フレームはアルミニウムあるいは鉄で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記放熱板は前記フレームよりも大きな熱伝導率を有する材料で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記放熱フィンは、前記放熱板の上方に相当する部分に複数散在されて設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記放熱板の下方に相当する部分に形成される前記開口は複数散在されて設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記放熱フィンは、垂直方向に延在された形状をなすことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
